The 5 Secrets To Highly Profitable Swing Trading - Kindle edition by Ivanov, Ivaylo. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading The 5 Secrets To Highly Profitable Swing Trading. Review: Loved the book - Loved the book. I've been learning to swing trade for a couple of years and I've read many of the well-known and recommended trading books, but this is my favorite. I'm not a member of Social Leverage 50.com (yet) but I've followed Mr. Ivanov on StockTwits and I have learned a lot from his blog. Another bonus to reading his daily posts is his great sense of humor. Mr. Ivanov has a talent for explaining trading concepts in an interesting and concise way. In the book, he tells you how to find the best swing setups, when to buy and when to sell. He explains risk/reward in a way I can finally understand. One thing I really liked was the way he illustrated breakouts by showing charts of stocks that have broken out very recently. This isn't a long book, but it doesn't need to be because it isn't filled with stories (or fluff as another reviewer said), it's packed with valuable information that can make you a successful swing trader. I intend to read it again soon, and refer to it in the future. Review: Good book - The book outlines a viable approach to swing trading but is not particularly well written. Could be a little more systematic and detailed about precise entries and exits and could put a little more into discussing risk management.

Swing Trade Sweet Chariot
So, I am NOT living the dream; but at least I can dream the dream. Unlike so many helpful reviewers before me, I'm not really playing the market. Therefore, I can't tell you just how this book adds or detracts from my nonexistent stock market profits and losses. So just then upon what do I base my review and rating? In essence, where am I coming from? Only this: does the book tell me exactly what to do? Does this book or any book like it give me the secret sauce recipe, the system to follow, the step-by-step check list method to stock market success? Or does the book merely recite vague feel good advice without providing a useful or followable strategy? I am rating this book highly, because the author provides the reader with a nearly exact system to follow. In other words, the author shares his secret sauce with us. From the first page of chapter one we are rewarded with the start of a checklist regarding "What is a Perfect Swing Setup?", e.g., item 2: "Near 10-day high (within 3% of it)". The author provides us with eight such criteria (presented in big print) followed by example charts and explanations. This is a short book with many chart examples and printed with a large font size. It should not take too long to read. Will you make money by following it? Beats me. But if you find yourself with some toss into the ring $$ and some good to go guts, then this book provides a quick turn-key & out of the box approach to making trades.

Good but nothing new
Maybe I’ve simply read too many books on trading idk, but this book is regurgitation of what’s available in many books on trading. I’m not suggesting Ivaylo didn’t use his own personal experience and methodologies but from an avid readers perspective it didn’t add anything to my arsenal of trading. For a new trader who knows little, it maybe beneficial. IMO, the formula for finding potential runners is missing the price action component, that is bar patterns, volume etc.. I’ve found that it’s as important in real day to day trading.

great advice for swing traders
This is a great explanation of swing trading and gives real, actionable advice to the reader. I am also a trader and it's easy to tell he knows how to trade and is not just a pundit. I love swing trading because it doesn't require you to sit in front of your charts all day like day trading but it still requires work. This book will give you good ideas on some of he steps and actions to take when looking for good swing trading setups as well as good money management.

Learned a Few things
I've read over 100 trading books and I always learn something. I especially like the simple, straight forward explanations in this book. Trading is not that hard. Too many authors seem to have the objective of making themselves seem smart rather than keeping it simple. For example, when a stock has an expanded range day on large volume and closes far below the high of the day, near the low of the day, it's an indication of momentum loss. A good time for a swing trader to take some profits & tighten the stop. Simple & sensible.

Great concise book. Only important information. People will probably not catch how this book is so valuable. It resambles Mark Minervini style but it has new info that I have not seen on Oneil or Mark.

Way too short. A "booklet" where the real purpose is to promote his website. The trading experience of the author is obvious but leaves me perplexe about the real goal of this tiny booklet since this advice is known by everyone on the stock market.! Not worth 10.00$

This book has helped me advance my entries and exits from the markets. Ivan explains his setups in an easy and concise manner. Have been through it 3 times (it only takes and hour) and have taken some invaluable points from the book.
