These work great! I competed in a mid-range prone match last weekend, with large rifles being fired left and right of me, and with these earplugs the noise level was very tolerable. I wore these continuously for 7 hours each day and there was zero discomfort, and I could still hear commands from the match director and communicate with those near me. Another bonus is I didn't have to wear my hot earmuffs on a 90° day, which don't seal around my ears with safety glasses on and tend to leak noise.

These are smaller than most of the other foam plugs I've tried and fit my ears very well. More of the plug stayed in my ear canal than the bigger ones. A good size for sleeping. They don't block as much sound in my ears as the larger plugs like Howard Leight (orange) and Heros (blue.)

Soft and good for littler ears, I have tiny ear canals and TMJ and for some reason the two don’t mix. But these don’t hurt like other options, and still block out the noise.

This is the second time I've purchased these. The first container lasted a long time and I'd buy again. They are effective protection, very comfortable and being black, they are discrete which makes you want to wear them more. Take care of your hearing, you'll thank me later (guy who never knew to take care of his hearing)

The noise reduction seems to be simply ok and they are comfortable. These earplugs are narrower an shorter lending to a less than through reduction in sound blockage. In order to receive the greatest benefit I had to place them all the way down my ear canal which makes extraction difficult, I had to use tweezers. I doubt that these would be effective for anyone with a larger ear canal, i.e.; a larger person. Or in the workplace. I have included a photo in order to demonstrate. It may not seem a significant difference however you notice it immediately with use.

I bought these because I go to a lot of Metal concerts and I'm already experiencing the beginnings of tinnitus/hearing loss. I should have bought these years ago. They're black so they're not that noticeable, if you're self conscious about looking like a wuss. No one's given me crap for them yet and honestly, I wouldn't care if they did. Hearing loss is permanent and your hearing will never improve, it only gets worse.

The fit is not good at all. They are too dry and don't expand well in the ear as to make a good seal against noise. I also use ear plugs to sleep and these come out sometime during my sleep. I chose them for the color as these are hard to see at the loud bar or club but they do not perform well at all as to call these 'noise' protection ear plugs.' My tinnitus seems to have gotten worse after relying on these after one occasion, as the protection was inadequate . Don't waste your money as customer service doesn't reply back. Save your hearing by going with another brand.

I bought these after trying every dB ear plug under the sun as I like to wear them UNDER my Howard Leight by Honeywell ear protection for shooting at the range due to the echo in the stalls and you never know what calibre someone is using beside you so extra ear protection is a must to me. While the dB level on the description of soooo many different ear plugs may be the same, they do not give the same protection when it comes to pitch. The “rubber” that these are made out of form well and once you “roll” them prior to inserting them you have enough time to get them inserted comfortably and correctly which does make a difference as some unroll far too fast and you are just shoving them in there and they are not conformed to your inner ear properly which goes against the point of using them. The REAL TEST came when I tried them on a particularly bad SNORING evening with my beloved husband. I thought if these don’t work, a pillow over his....er...I mean, MY head in conjunction with the earplugs will have to do.....well, THESE WORKED. Again, it isn’t always about the decibel level but it can be about the pitch and these ones definitely do the job on both requirements for what I needed them for! 1/2 go in my gear bag and the other half on the bed side table. Either way, I wish I would have found these 100’s of dollars ago in trying everything from the wax swimming ear plugs (hair stylist REALLY enjoyed getting THOSE OUT of my hair) to actual shooting ear protection inserts. Not one of them touched these babies! Won’t take me long to lose a jug of these or give some way at the range for someone who forgot theirs but i will definitely make this a repurchase on my list of greats with Amazon!
