The back has a 'satin' texture to it, that helps to grip the phone and is easy to clean. (I bought 3 of these) Really nice appearance. Gold pieces a semi-flimsy but, once installed, add to the structure of the entire case. I dropped my phone, this DID protect the phone. There are sturdier cases, but this is one of, the better looking. I bought three (3) of these (in different colors) to match what I'm wearing. Men usually don't have many options, in terms fashion accessories, but this is; affordable, unique AND is practical!! NOTE: The following is a review about The Black cover Only: Looks great but, is cut differently than the blue & green (which I have). The gold 'securing' clips are different and do NOT fit securely to the cover. One fell off on the first day! The other gold clips I have are not direct replacements. Having the two other cases, I knew this one just didn't fit properly. For me, I would not purchase the BLACK again.

I've had the product for over a month now and I can safely say it has done its job of protecting my phone and add a level of curb appeal I never expected. First, the case isn't complicated to attach to your phone and has a snug fit, no wiggling parts. Coming from an Otter Box, I didn't know what to expect on this products durability but after plenty of "little accidents" and normal day activities, I'm amazed how the cover doesn't have any cracks and scratches on it and most importantly, keeping my phone protected. Next, I love the way my phone looks. I bought the Dark Green colorway and with the gold accents, it makes my phone look premium and feels good to hold. As I stated earlier, I previously owned an Otter Box, huge, rigid, and sometimes uncomfortable when wearing jeans or shorts. But this case being such a snug fit on the phone just adds a tiny amount of thickness that makes you feel comfortable about your phones durability and safety while at the same time, looking and feeling good in your hand. Lastly, for being my first purchase from this company I approve what they have done in making this product and I can't wait to see what they provide for future phones when it comes time to upgrade. I recommend this phone case if someone is looking to add protection and more durability to their phone while having a modern clean look that looks great even when just charging on the night stand.

Very thin and flimsy and won't provide much protection for your phone besides minor scratches. No rubber or impact protection. Gold paint on the end frames was already coming off when arrived..so I spray painted the gold frames with metallic paint, and added a coat of clear lacquer, and now the case looks very nice with a satin feel. I mostly wanted a thin case that looks good, so I'm pretty happy.

I bought this phone case after my default one started to break and I was pleased with it once it arrived. It looked great and fit my phone perfectly and the red and gold colors looked great, but not long after having it I realized how cheaply made the gold pieces were. When my phone was in my pocket and I pulled it out the gold end pieces would come off and get left behind in my pocket and at times I wouldn't even notice and I would end up dropping the gold pieces and losing them. Eventually after a couple of falls the gold pieces broke, the little nibs on the ends broke off and made it impossible to secure them to the case anymore. At that time I had to just buy a whole new case. Great for minute, but ultimately you'll find a better case with the exact same design, but better competents.

I got the green. I love it. It's kind of course to a dark teal than an emerald. If that makes sense. I was concerned about the cut outs for my slightly larger charging cable, but works splendidly. I haven't had the chance to try the headphone jack, sorry. But it's a great case. I haven't had it for too long but I heavily use my phone (ie always in my hand) and I haven't had any issues. Feels great in the hand, classy looking. I don't think it's meant for heavy duty protection. But looks like it should withstand the typical drop. The gold bits extend over the front of the phone. I don't know what good that would really do, not it makes me feel like I have slightly more protection. Let's just say, I feel like my phone is safer in this than my last cheap snap on case. As a side note: My mom and brother both saw it and immediately went to go order one lol. I'll update if I have any further issues

I absolutely loved this case! The matte and color were so amazing that I got many compliments. I bought a bow ring to attach and it looked flawless. The case is a little tricky to get in and off, but it makes it very strong. Big deduction on the quality, however. After about a month, the matte started to peel and the power button broke (had to tape it). I would have loved to keep it longer but between the peeling and tape, it started to look rough.

I've had this case for 3 months, and the matte finish has been peeling off making it look very cheap. There's residue from removing my popsocket, but the peeling on the side of phone had been grtting worse. The gold top and bottom of the case were constantly falling off and chip very easily. I've had sturdier cases for comparable prices, I will not be buying again or recommending.

I loved the case when I put it on. There are three parts; the main body (which is a flexible TPU material) and the top and bottom pieces). I chose green, which is a beautiful pearl satin emerald green. The top and bottom pieces are gold-toned and easy to put on. The next day, I dropped the phone from a sitting position, from maybe 18" above the floor. The tab that holds the top in broke off and disappeared so the top now slips away from the rest of the case and the phone. I would not expect this to protect my phone from any fall or bump.
