Wow but….
Wow but….how much of this is even true? I understand that the author must elaborate somewhat, and must add banter that we know was not accurate, but wow! Reading this was mesmerizing, and enjoyable but it invariably rung in my head…this is fiction, which made it less mesmerizing and enjoyable. Oh certainly some of it is true, but this book paints the picture that James Dean slept with every good-looking man and woman who was hot in Hollywood at the time, which cannot be so!

It’s what you want! Is it true? Idk?
This book is unbelievable; and I’m not saying I don’t belive it; but there’s a lot that I question. Even so it’s really interesting to think of the possibilities of these being true. The book also makes you think of these people in a different way. It’s exciting; it’s kind of pornographic; it’s interesting. If you’re curious about it, I definitely think it’s worth checking out and buying.

Sound like he was a nightmare to work with
Another guilty pleasure by Porter and Prince. Considering all the sex on the so-called "casting couch" (alledgelly) James Dean was having one would think his career would have moved a little faster. Sound like he was a nightmare to work with. I always feel in need of a shower after reading one of these epics :) a good read though.

Don't know if any of this book is true
This is literally like reading an "adult" novel. I can't tell if any of this is real. It's just about one sexual encounter to the next. I'm only 100 pages in and it seems like he's been sexual with a dozen or more people already. If it's true, I have no idea how the author found out all of the information and why he would just believe it. It sounds a little far fetched but maybe Hollywood really is just a place where an eternal orgy is going on,

James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes!
I like the book, but realized that the author has a history of this kind of "shock" book. While there were times I was convinced that what he said could be true, there other timeswhen I realized that it is like reading fiction: a special kind of fiction which I call "shock fiction."It is sad to say that even though at certain points I felt I was reading unsubstantiated sexual episodes that might be fiction, I tended to keep turning the pages of the book with great interest. After I was finished with the book, I realized that I could be reading a fictionalization of a deceased movie star's sex life and was not proud that I had such a thirst for gossip and sensationalism.

Trash
How could the author possibly know what was said or done in private? Everyone is dead and there is no way he was able to interview any of these people. So he takes one word of truth and stretches it into garbage. Don't waste your money. The writer does not honor James Dean as stated on the cover. There are reputable biographies on Dean out there.

Character assassination at its hottest.
Character assassination at its hottest. According to the authors James Dean had sex with everyone in Hollywood except Lassie and Sidney Greenstreet! How did Jimmy find the time to make 3 of the finest films ever made? According to this he didn't have time to get out of bed. You'll need a shower when you finish this opus to get the stink off. No footnotes, no notations, no documentation... just a vague list of names at the end, most of them undoubtedly Hollywood's greatest wags and wannabees. It's billed as "unauthorized and unapologetic"... they left off the most important word...UNTRUE. It's the easiest thing in the world for fading, elderly gay men to spin hot tales of an icon. What else do they have?I think of the Winslow/Dean family back in Indiana and how they have to suffer while Darwin Porter revels in making a quick buck off of second and third hand filth.I absolutely believe that James Dean was bisexual. He himself said,"Why should I go through life with one hand tied behind my back?"...but this relentless, almost giddy retelling of Dean's (supposed) sex life is a ham-fisted effort at best. Mr. Porter could also use an English class or two. It averages incorrect English or a typo (hundreds of typos) on every page. He was so busy cranking out this crap to score a quick buck that he didn't have time to proofread or do a spellcheck!I happen to own every book about Dean including (unfortunately) this breathless effort. I bought and read this because I read everything on him. For diehard Dean fans, I WILL tell you that there are, occasionally, facts and information that you will not find anywhere else and that actually have a ring of truth. But if you choose to read it, make sure you bring your waders and a clothes pin. Fair warning.
