Survived 9 days of travel.
UPDATE 12/18/2023 The buckle finally snapped off, but I'm absolutely pleased with the product. I'm pretty rugged on my stuff so this belt was pretty abused along my travels. This belt carried money across many borders and it's seen a lot of action over 4 years. I can say this is one of the best belts I've ever had. There was never an issue crossing the gate at the airport and I never once had to remove it. For reference, I travel about 30-60 days per year and I toss my stuff around constantly. If this belt survived this long, it's a quality product. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATE 11/24/2019 I've been using this belt regularly its holding up well. Its not fragile AT ALL even though it feels so light. If youre traveling, this is definitely a product you should pick up. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a solid belt. I had to shave off about a foot of slack so that it wouldn't get in my way, but I just have to melt the tip with a lighter and everything was perfect. It stores a good amount of cash. My only qualm with the belt is that the slack is in front of the buckle. If it were designed to tuck behind the buckle I would be much happier. Customer service was fantastic. I was unable to use the coupon because it was for one use and I already used it. On my second order, Sarah honored the discount and gave me a partial refund. I definitely like what this company stands for.

What's NOT to LIKE!
I have used "Money belts" in the past but could only place a few bills in the compartment. Getting ready for a long trip where cash was a necessity, I purchased this belt. Its wider than most meaning you can place more money in the compartment as well as looking better on you. The buckle is substantial and it looks like it will maintain its grip no matter what I'm doing (I have had lots of plastic buckle web belts that easily un-do themselves at the worst occasions) It's TSA approved where I don't have to remove it to go through security screening. I easily adjusted the length. BUT wait, there's more......besides the reasonable price, Zero Grid clearly stands behind its products. They are so confident that they work that they offer a $300 travel protection plan against loss of items stored in the belt AND 2 Worldwide Lost and Found Tags for any item (camera, phone, watch etc) to help you recover them if you loose one that has a tag attached. This service is from ReturnMe and according to their website these two lifetime membership tags cost over $10. Any company that stands behind its products to this extent have my purchasing power. I'm going to report back on how this my security belt worked on my next trip. I am confident from what I've seen so far that it'll be just perfect.

Convenient but Clunky
The concept is great and convenient for those looking for an alternative to carrying a wallet. I was able to fit my cash in the pouch by folding the bills in half, and also fit my car key. When I went to access my cash, it was actually not as easy as I thought it would be. It was difficult to twist and unzip without loosening the belt to do so and it looked a bit silly. I ended up going into a restroom to remove cash when I needed it. I am petite, so the belt was quite large and a bit clunky on me. It was too large for most of the belt loops on my clothes and wearing it without belt loops made the belt move up and down, so I had to keep adjusting it. It was also much too long and so I ended up cutting off the excess since there isn't a hoop to secure the excess of the belt. I am also fashion conscious and this belt just isn't fashionable enough for someone like me to wear. Overall, I think it's great for people who are concerned about theft while traveling and don't mind giving up fashion for safety. I would consider wearing something like this if there were different designs and they made the belt softer and with a petite female's waist size in mind.

Good for Anti Pickpocketing Travel
I highly recommend this belt for people doing long term or overseas travel or travel in places where they fear being pick-pocketed. It's not as convenient as a money pouch you put under your shirt for getting things out as quickly, but it is a lot more subtle to wear, of course. It just looks like an every day black belt. The buckle is plastic though so it can go through airport security. I've seen pictures of people turning the belt outwards while wearing it to get things out of the zipper, and I suppose you can do that if you have money in the very end of the belt, but I would mostly recommend it for extra cash/if you're traveling with large amounts, and copies of your travel documents. Even if something happens to your luggage in the airport or where you're staying, or if someone gets in your purse or pocket, there's no way they're getting in this, so you'll know for sure you have a backup of important things (and subtly and hands free). I would recommend the pouch style for if you want to easily get things out, but I would recommend this as a kind of personal travel safe you can wear without worry of losing a bag or being pick-pocketed. Also this particular one is a better deal that other similar ones because it also comes with a lifetime warranty, trip assurance, and the ReturnMe lost item tags so hey why not.

Great belt but it Dyes your money
I love the belt and bought several over time and it does a great job. Only problem is if you leave money in the belt for too long the dye in the belt seeps into the money. I lost too many wallets, cards year after year and also alot of money in them so this was my next option. I kept several hundred smaller bills in it for emergencies (or if my Credit card chip malfunctioned) today after several months I decided to slowly spend it and swap it out. But too many people assumed it was counterfeit. So please understand that a black man believed to have fake money is a dangerous thing. Especially in the USA. So use ziplock bags in your belt. I knew it made my money slightly darker but over 4 months this time it made it way too dark. I've learned my lesson and after washing and cleaning my bills I'm using ziplock bags for now on. ***Update*** From 2023 to now July 2024 The opposite end of the belt from the buckle slowly over time comes apart if being used regularly. I cut off the frizzy ends and crazy glued the whole end and its been working great for months. So if you get it brand new put crazy glue on the end thats opposite of the buckle and let it dry.

Tough but comfortable. Great quality!
I bought this belt 3 years ago. It’s basically the only belt I’ve used for everything, everyday. Normal day routine, workout routine, everything. I’m getting a second one because I have decided to use the “old” one for workouts only. Getting a bit of stink due to fact it’s always on. If you use to carry money, it’s not great in hot humid conditions. If you’re sweating a lot, your bills will get wet. I had this happen when I was needing clean, crisp bills in a foreign country and I had problems getting them to accept bills that had some stain from getting wet.

Good travel security
This inconspicuous belt not only keeps my pants up, but keeps my cash secure and inaccessible to pick pockets when traveling. It is great for carrying a few large bills without attracting attention when I open my wallet to pay for something in a busy market. Bills in the belt can be accessed in privacy, leaving only smaller denominations in wallet to be noticed. If they don’t know that you have it, they probably won’t try to take it. The belt is comfortable to wear and can stash other small or foldable items that you may not want to keep in your pocket for any number of protective reasons. I have even tucked a bit of note paper in there in case I need a blank page to write something down when my notebook isn’t available, or to leave a note for someone. It’s. Not secret agent level security, but it’s great for a casual traveler who needs or wants to feel secure walking around with a bit of cash, or whatever they may keep in the belt.

Mostly very very nice, but...
I have a 38" waist and this belt is a bit short. I'm used to having enough extra on a belt to comfortably fit to the first belt loop, this belt only sticks out 2 inches. If this matters to you, only buy it if you are about a 36" or less. The end that goes through the belt loops is a bit odd, one edge is trimmed where most belts it's symmetrically trimmed, seems to work, but it's just odd. I like the belt buckle, it seems to hold well. You slide the belt through and it clamps securely. It seems to be a strong plastic that looks fine, has a matte finish. It looks a bit light weight however. I haven't had it long enough to know if it's durable. The zipper appears to be of good quality and is quite long so the place for money is quite long. Someone complained that a credit card doesn't fit, well yes a belt of this width will not hold a credit card. Really the key for me is that it looks like a good black nylon belt and it works well. If they made one that was a bit longer, perhaps in a dark brown, I would enjoy getting another. It seems to me that they are trying to make a good product.

So far, it suits my needs. Wide enough to hold coins.
Other than trying it on (very pleased), haven't used it enough to notice any faults. As is, would highly recommend.
