The meals arrived early but very disappointed, not good value for money.

LLevo tiempo comparando diferentes productos para supervivencia y senderismo. En esta ocasión, tocaba evaluar las diferentes comidas que hay en el mercado. Lo primero, decir que aunque el sabor y la calidad son buenas, pero no sirve para senderismo, básicamente por el peso: Me imagino teniendo que llevar 6 packs de estos para el fin de semana... imposible. Además, para el tema de supervivencia / preparacionismo, etc... tampoco vale; Además del inconveniente del exceso de peso, se une el elevado precio. Y por si fuera poco, todas estas raciones militares son exedentes que suelen llevar una fecha de caducidad de menos de 6 meses. En algunos de los embases, ni siquiera aparece la fecha de caducidad... En definitiva, no lo recomiendo.

This is a legit American MRE and for anybody who's watched those MRE videos during Covid I recommend trying this out! It's fun reading all the labels and nutritional values and such. With that being said, this particular menu is pretty bad. The chicken is bland and gummy, the beef jerky tastes like soy and has an awful texture, like packed meat kind of, and the energy bar is absolutely disgusting, it tastes like an abomination. The fried kernels were good I guess. I rate this 5 stars because it's a real MRE. But if you care enough about the flavor, please try another menu/MRE.
