I like that this product is easy to operate and it shipped with a plug safety cover. No excessive packaging.One button on the side operates 3 different modes which each have an assigned color. The red setting is for when youre away.Easy to use and operated straight out of the box. The only thing that I dont like is that it blocks use of the other outlet because it protrudes too far up. Not a super big deal since the outlet I plugged it into is only being used for this device.No more pesky million leggers coming up from the basement!

I was excited to get this after enduring multiple mosquito bites every evening and swatting flies every minute. My disappointment has reached a new level as I type this covered in Benadryl anti-itch gel.I've tried all settings and nothing seems to deter the onslaught of insects.At the highest setting, there is an audible squelch that only my headphones can silence. On top of that, it seems to be a tribal rhythm that flies & mosquitoes really enjoy. It calms them into a systematic planned attack instead of random ones. Rather than a bite every few minutes & a fly every minute, the squelch cadence seems to be an uprising call for both types of insects to attack & surround me at once in a cloud of annoyance.I've received more mosquito bites & surrounding flies in 2 hours after using this than I have in a week.I'll endure the evening, but a product return is imminent.Update 9/16/19: Due to my review, the seller has repeatedly sent me emails offering me money to remove it or change it to a 5 star review. They have been reported to Amazon. Now I am receiving physical spam mail under the guise of Amazon offering the same. Photo attached.

So far works well, no bugs

After a week on medium repel I noticed there seemed to be a lot of roaches suddenly hanging out at the outlet this unit was plugged into. I pulled off the unit and about 20 plus roaches were gathered behind it, having themselves a little meeting. From the gunk behind it they have been hanging out there the entire week. That is not repelling the bugs but attracting them. How these things are getting 5 star reviews is a mystery to me. After one week and seeing this I don't want to wait 3 more to see if it to actually works. I'm sending it back.

I am super arachnophobic and I been having silver fish issues...I gave it some time, I have kept it on blue for more than a month...occasionally I will turn it to red while I am away AND THE SPIDERS and silverfish are still chilling in my apartment when I come home...reading the ratings I thought it would work...I think mine is defective then?

Even though there is no real scientific evidence that such a device really deters bugs and rodents as advertised, but given all the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Well, I bought it to a place that probably has the the most diverse bug population-- the mountains and coast of Mexico. I plugged in the device in my one room cabana (and set at the medium setting and even try the highest setting when I left the room), and I can honestly tell you that this device does not work. There was at one time a bug on the device plugged in to the wall when I got back in the room and there were ants marching around the floor. I had better luck with the mosquito net over my bed since there were all these bugs on the outside of the net when I got up. Alas, it was worth a try....

We live in an area where mosquitoes are always present when outdoors, this ultra sonic device seems to help keep our patio area mosquito free so we aren't constantly spraying chemicals on our skin. I like that there are 3 different settings you can select from by pressing a single button on the side of the device to toggle between the different intensities. The green light is the 1st setting the blue light indicates 2nd setting and the red light is the most intense setting that humans can actually hear. The green and blue settings state that humans and pets can't hear it, which I can't hear it but my cat does not seem to fond of it. My dog doesn't seem to be bothered by it though. We purchased an outlet extender to plug in the ultra sonic bug repeller so that it doesn't take up the whole plug in and it still works just fine. I also haven't seen any spiders around it so I feel like this is a great repeller for all the creepy crawlies.

Just like your mom used to say - if it's too good to be true it probably isn't true.I purchased 3 of these based of the hundreds of 5 star reviews, and that's called being a sheep. Initially when I purchased them, plugged them in, I felt immediate relief. Perhaps it is because it causes the mosquitoes to be afraid of the sound. Fast forward 2 weeks and I have just as many bug bites on my arms legs neck hands as I did before. Nothing has changed, in fact it hasn't rained here in over a month, so climate can't be it. Regardless - I did some research and found that a lot of professional studies have been done that dispute these claims.Bummer because I thought I found the silver bullet but alas, I'm going to purchase one of those $150-200 Dynatrap things or something similar.I hate mosquitoes!!!
