Des Moines Wild Bird Feed Red Milo (Grain Sorghum) (8)

I don't have or raise birds. I like sorghum and was having trouble finding the red variety that is said to have a higher polyphenol and antioxidant content. I read in another review that someone else had made it for themselves. The seed arrived super clean so I soaked them (like I do for any grain) and cooked them in an InstaPot for 35 minutes and kept the leftovers in the fridge to reheat later. Very tasty! The resistant starch and no gluten are working great for me. I will definitely be reordering

Excellent quality at a good price.

My pet dove eats a dove-food seed mix, and I noticed he particularly enjoys the red sorghum seeds. I came to Amazon to try to buy a sorghum-only bag for him. This product was the only one I found that looked like the seed in his mix. It arrived clean and looked fresh. My dove enjoyed it a lot.

Looked inside and is incredibly clean. Kooked some for me. Is excellent with olive oil, like italian farro wheat grain (without the gluten). The UPS dropped my package broked it and spiled some of the seeds. Company reimburseed me right away. We're very nice.

Guess it works as advertised. Never ate this myself.

This seed has become very hard to find locally but it was just what I needed. It was clean and very well packaged. The only negative was the picture makes the product appear darker than it really is, but it really was milo.

Wild dove and other birds love this feed!
