I switched to a padded leather strap which has no "give" and is nice and wide
I bought this because I have a heavy electric bass guitar (with a bit of a neck dive problem) and my original 2.5 inch wide strap wasn't cutting it ... I was getting soreness on top of my shoulder, over the collar bone. This strap solved the shoulder soreness within a few days, but about a month later I began to have a lot of back problems. I attribute this to the elasticity in the strap causing my body to constantly, and subconsciously, adjusting to accommodate different positions and strap tension. The bass wouldn't hang in place ... if I rested my right arm on the body of the bass, its position would change (because of the elastic) and my back would curve or straighten or torque to accommodate that change.I switched to a padded leather strap which has no "give" and is nice and wide. Within about 10 days all back issues went away. I've been using that leather strap ever since (it's the "One Strap" from Scott's Bass Lessons website). This strap might work for you. But it might, as in my case, cause other problems. I really do not like the elasticity of the strap at all.3 stars because it did fix the shoulder pain issue -- otherwise I'd make it 1 star because back pains is a much more serious problem.

Super comfortable and pretty
The most comfortable strap ever! Plus there's a lot of color choices. I got it for my first show and it works super well with my yamaha bass.Definitely worth it.

Best Guitar strap ever for heavy Les Paul or other heavy guitars / bass
I have a 20 year old Les Paul Standard that has to be one of the heaviest guitars on the planet. The tone is amazing but that thing is a backbreaker and after a few hours of jamming always left me feeling sore...even sometimes the next day. This strap is a complete game changer. Not only is the foam cushion comfortable but the strap has a little stretch to it which provides enough give to really take the stress off your shoulder. The difference was noticeable immediately and I played for 3 hours without even feeling tired....now I even use that guitar to practice at home it is so comfortable. I am still fine with other straps on lighter guitars but if you have a heavy guitar or bass and are looking for some relief you should definitely give this a shot. Very impressed with the quality and the look of this product.

while I found it comfortable, I stopped using it as I found it ...
Just made the move from short-scale bass guitars to a gorgeous jetglo Rickenbacker 4003S! I used to use skinny leather vintage-style straps with a small shoulder pad, and realized that I had to make a change due to the added weight of the Ric, and the fact that I'm not getting any younger. I purchased this based off the reviews, assuming that I'd be returning it. My biggest concern was that it would slide all over my shoulder, and I'd have a difficult time playing with my bass nose-diving all over the place. This strap held my Ric steady for a three hour rehearsal playing on a cement basement floor, and I never noticed that it was there. The size of the strap spreads out the weight, the padding does what it's supposed to, and it has just the right amount of stretch. I'm impressed. This is also the only strap that I've ever used that fits Schaller strap-locks without the need of any trimming of the strap button hole! UPDATE: After using this strap for a bit, while I found it comfortable, I stopped using it as I found it too wide and the aircells make it too thick. EVEN MORE RECENT UPDATE: After I updated my review, and lowered my rating from five to three stars, I was contacted by KLIQ Music Gear's customer service, and offered a full refund. Top notch. Four stars for taking care of business.

Just buy it. Your shoulder will thank you.
The only disappointment I have with this strap is that I didn’t try it sooner. I play bass and I’m a pretty small guy, so a strap can be make or break for me playing long shows or practices. I previously had a Levy’s leather strap that is now somewhere gathering dust. This Kliq is wide so it disperses the weight very evenly across the shoulder, the air pods are godly and you can feel the strap flex (it bounces in a good way) as you move. I very rarely even notice it as I’m playing, which is a great thing, and my shoulder is far less fatigued after long sessions than it used to be with my leather strap. There is nothing bad to say about this strap. I bought another one for my other bass after I tried this one out. We’ll see how long it holds up, but it’s not showing any signs of bad quality after about 6 months, and even if it does, I won’t hesitate to get another one.

The Working Man's Strap!
This is really a well designed strap.I play bass and changed from a ultra light composite body to a Jazz Bass at easily 300% more weight. I wanted something a bit wider than the novelty strap I had. Took a chance on something that I couldn't experience at the local music store and I was not disappointed! The strap is well padded and has a soft natural feel to it. It has a decent range of adjustment and the ends have holes that are exactly the right diameter for strap locks and are slotted as well if you use the OEM strap mounts. The most pleasantly surprising feature is that there's just a bit of elasticity to it so after a 4 hour gig you won't feel as though your shoulders are beaten into submission.I would absolutely recommend this strap and would buy again without hesitation.

Great strap for stand-up playing, and it doesn’t need strap locks
There are thousands of guitar straps available with the differences between them mostly decorative with their colour/pattern. This one has a genuine USP: a clever idea of air-filled square pads to offer more comfort over the shoulder which allows some air flow under the strap during hours of stand-up playing.A further small-but-good feature is that the strap material is unusually thick, and fits so tightly over the guitar strap buttons that you don’t really need to deploy strap locks. The only downside is the rather high-end price, but how often do you buy a guitar strap?

Very comfortable.
I've had two rehearsals with this strap now... three hour sessions with a bass and no breaks. I can say that this is the most comfortable strap I've ever had.The leather ends are thick, so not likely to come loose, but I use some of those Fender bottle top thingies with mine.It smells a bit rubbery when you take it out of the box, but that fades after a while.Recommended.

light, strong and above all - comfortable. Recommended
There are a lot of cheap, tacky looking leather straps out there, some of which are actually not very comfortable.I really like this strap. The leather ends are of a reasonable quality, but I would still not trust them without a strap-lock, as suggested by some other reviewers. The strap itself is light and extremely comfortable. The aircell bumps on the photo help to make the strap feel comnfortable, and are a great idea. The price is not cheap, and I could imagine that a low-quality neoprene strap could be made very cheaply. However, this strap seems to be well made and I am very happy with the apparent quality. As one other reviewer has already noted, it is not as if we are likely to be buying a new strap every month or two.It is not flashy or decorative (but neither am I) , but is a VERY comfortable and functional strap that I would expect to last a considerable time.

Wow! My guitar floats on air!
There can be little doubt that a lot of thought has gone into this product. From the thick leather ends to the overall finish of the strap, this product just exudes QUALITY.I don't have a particularly heavy guitar like an L.P. but I still wanted it to be less taxing on my shoulder. I have tried straps with fewer and larger GEL cells and not been totally satisfied. There can be no doubt that this KLIQ AirCell strap with smaller, closer and more numerous AIR cells is by far the better option. The slight elastic give on the strap also adds to the desired effect.I could go on and on about the merits of this strap but a more detailed and informative description is available on Utube by a bass guitarist with his own channel. Hope you find this helpful.

Kept falling off
Bought for my son's Epiphone Les Paul. The holes in the strap are not tight enough and at the wrong angle to support the guitar. It came off a couple of times and was not usable. My son then tried to use it on his Acoustic guitar and it still kept happening. Just sharing my experience. The strap seemed comfortable enough but if it will not support the guitar it isn't really fit for purpose.
