I really don't like most pot holders I can find in the stores. They're too large, too stiff, or too thick to be handled easily and end up increasing the risk of dropping something. I really don't understand the ones that are a single stiff layer - how tricky to use without burning yourself! I've had a pair of these for years and finally had to throw them away since they were looking pretty stained and beat up. I was so happy to find Amazon still selling them and ordered three sets so I can put two away for future use. They are just as large as they need to be without getting in the way or touching burners. The pocket lets me quickly insert my hand and grab something without fiddling around. I hang them on a hook on the side of the refrigerator so they're accessible and not taking up counter or drawer space. When they need washing I put them in with my bathroom towels and hang them to dry. They are 100% my idea of what a pot holder should be, without unnecessary and annoying "deluxe" design elements. BTW the red is a true red, what I've seen referred to as "Christmas red".

I’ve purchased these more than once. Super sturdy, great quality, love the price! These wash up very very well and offer great insulation between your hand and trays/pots. Where I live, it is very difficult to find anything like this in stores in this quality.

These potholders seem to be very well-made, and they are attractive. With my hand inside the pocket, there is the possibility of heat from a hot pan coming through the fabric so I wish they were a bit thicker. However, if I don’t put my hand in the pocket, I can use them safely. They look nice hanging in my kitchen.

Very nice potholders. I needed to replace a set a nasty, gross potholders. I prefer the terry cloth so I can toss them in the laundry. These are just thick enough to grab easily, but feel no heat. I'm quite happy with them.

These are the best potholders around. I can't find them in any local stores. They are very thick and heat resistant.

Perfect product, larger size, you can pick up any pot from a 500 oven and hold it for as long as you like, stitched well, … should stand up to the test of time better than most.

I needed new pot holders and wanted blue and 100% Cotton. These fit the bill perfectly!

Exactly what I hoped they would be - not lightweight, good sized, serious potholders like in my mother's kitchen. I recognized these as 5 Stars as soon as I opened the package and handled them ~

My only complaint is the price. They are well made and soft so easy to pick things up.

I love terry cloth pot holders, but these ones were a disappointment. The cloth is too thick and coarse to bend easily, and the pot holder is too large for my hand, so they are difficult to use. They would work well for men with very large hands. I am a woman with a fairly large hand, and they are too big for me to use easily. The stitching is also a problem. Stitching tends to not hold up to repeat washing. I had to resew both of my potholders.

the insulation is perfect and my older pair is very well used.. I've this for myself and given away as presents. It's very good for medium insulation.

I have a similar pair of these I have used for years. They are wearing out!...I was very happy to find another pair! Dark colour is great!
