Pelican 1170 Case With Foam (Yellow)

Excellent sturdy case for my Beretta and a couple magazines fits perfectly nice and secure two holes for locks for traveling TSA accessible excellent product

I really like this case. It is beyond sturdy, feels very solid. The pluckable foam on the bottom makes secure & precise placement possible for almost any shape object. I like the fact that should one make a mistake and take out too much foam, it is possible to use spray glue (or some such) to replace pieces. Combined with a lock such as the Master Lock 140T, this is a highly secure and safe way to transfer firearms or other valuables around.I don't intend to test the water resistance capabilities of the case, but I have no doubt it will pass. Opening it results in one of those soft sighs of air escaping from a vault feeling. Well made and tough clamps make sealing the interior feel even more solid. For the price, great work.

Bought to fit CZ P10F with red dot and threaded barrel. It barely fit with 2 magazines. Very nice case, but I wonder how the foam will stand to heat.

New handgun, new case...Decided upon this size Pelican case at a great price from Amazon.The only negative was the pull and pluck foam. I didn't even attempt to use it. Instead, I purchased some Kaizen Foam inserts that exactly fit this case.Overall, love everything about the quality of this case. Everything I wanted to fit into this case, fit great.Very pleased.

I was a little concerned reading reviews that the case would be too small but still hopeful. It's perfect. It fits a Taurus PT111 G2 9mm and 2 clips very nicely. The box is very strong, and thin enough to fit under my seat. I purchased the suggested Master Lock 140T (7/8) and again perfect fit. Great price, great product! The yellow isn't quite as bright as the photo. In reality, it's just a shade darker.

if the 1170 had a better grip, like the one on the 1200 series ( a bit of rubber around ) it would have 5 stars !have a couple of these, use them for the First Aid kit in the car to keep my smaller cameras save but mainly it is my EDC carry case when i go light or more businesswise, keeps my ids, money,mobile as well as a SF Backup & a Leatherman/ Pocketknife with space avaible for tissues etc.The double latches are great,the locking holes need a wirelock but otherwise !!!want more !!

Always purchase Pelican for sensitive electronics, keeps them safe and out of the elements. Works great. If price continues to climb I will start to look elsewhere.

I got 2 of these as 'travel' cases for my handguns. It comes with pre-cut foam that you can shape as the top layer, and another foam layer at the bottom. Even before I could use these for the purpose I got them for, the Northeast got hit by a major storm and I ended up using this as my 'emergency' go-case since it is waterproof. I ended up storing my iPhone, wallet, glow sticks, extra batteries, and LED flashlight in it. I actually never got to use it (luckily) but I had the confidence after reading all the reviews (on Amazon and other places).For the handguns, it fits a glock with one mag in the gun and one mag outside - it is fairly compact so don't expect to fit a lot more in it... maybe can put a couple of glow sticks but that's about it. But the nice thing is that it fits in backpacks and can be locked (for the states with weird gun-travel laws).All in all, satisfied so far.
