Excellent vinyl MFTM
I recently got back into vinyl after more than a 25 years hiatus, having bought CDs primarily since the 90’s. Having worked in a record store in the late 80’s of course I picked up quite a bit of work. Problem was, most vinyl I was getting were 12”s, most everything was CD. This Depeche Mode MFTM on vinyl is outstanding, though not one of the original pressings. But the music is just as enjoyable, with exquisite clarity from high to low, and yet with that sound you only get with playing on a record player, distant from digital. I have all the 12” singles of DM of course, but now I can enjoy a full album with only have to flip the record once. One down, several more to go.

Intense, dark, beautiful music
One of the best albums of the entire 80s. Dark goth vampire, babe. You need it. I never tire of this album and have owned it on vinyl, casette tape and now cd.

Perfect reissue
I used to have all these singles back in the '80s. The artwork, printing and even the paper stock is exact. All the copyright info says "1987." You'd think these were direct from Mute Records. There were zero issues playing and all sound really clean even though "Little 15" was slightly warped for some reason. The bass on "Behind the Wheel" and "Strange Love" is nice and deep. If you told me these were from the original masters, I'd believe it. They don't sound like they came from CD copies. I didn't realize it came with a digital download as well - so bonus! Very, very happy with this set.

One of my favorite DM albums
I thought that I had this on CD but I couldn't find it. When I saw it on sale I immediately bought it! It has some of my favorite songs, Never Let Me Down, The Things You Said, Strangelove, Sacred, Little 15, Behind The Wheel, Nothing, Pimpf, Pleasure Little Treasure, Route 66. I'm listening to it as I write this review! Their mix of melancholy lyrics and electronic/dance music just goes so well! Even the instrumental tracks are great! (PIMPF, Agent Orange, Stjarna) I always like an eclectic mix for my MP3 player, so I usually have a lot of DM on it! I have to stop now so I can do some more shopping!

CAUTION: Incorrect AutoRip when purchasing Audio CD through Amazon.
On the date May 30th 2022, I purchased this CD album through Amazon; per the product page, it comes with an AutoRip of the album. I incorrectly received "Music For The Masses | The 12" Singles" from the AutoRip e-mail. After Amazon Customer Service was unable to resolve the problem with the correct album, I requested a refund. Looking for a review of the album itself? "Music for the Masses" and "Violator" are IMHO the best two Depeche Mode studio albums to start with when diving into their discography.

これの一つ前とコレは当時から過小評価されていたように記憶してる マーティンさんがなんか世間の評価が不服だとか記事で読んだような？ MLBの電子オルガンでNever Let Me Down Againが弾かれる度にニヤリとする 一つ後のWorld in My Eyesが好きな私はこの盤だとBehind the Wheelなんかも好きです というかこのアルバムは最初から最後まで続けて聴くのがおすすめです そこらへんのシングル寄せ集めアルバムとかシングルカットにちょい水増しアルバムとは違うんで

Para mi, junto con “Violator” es de lo mejor de Depeche Mode. Música de una época llena de sintetizadores que sigue sonando fresca. Imprescindible.
