definitely a huge upgrade from regular dixie or typical plastic colorful plates. Super elegant, looks like china, good for really fancy occasions. We had a special occasion recently and it really made a difference to use these. I also feel like there is less leaching of plastic when you put hot food on. I can't tell you for sure, but I can say that if you put a hot piece of food on the plate it's not going to get soft and flexible in the middle of the plate, or lightly deformed, as other plastic plates do.

These are very sturdy and pretty. The only problem I had was I received what was apparent to be a return. They box was damaged, the plastic the plates are supposed to be enclosed in was open and silver tassel was in with the plates. I reordered because they were so pretty. Let's hope they come in as new the next time!

These plates are great! This is the second time I have bought them. The first time, my guests didn't want to throw them away because they look like fine china. They are much stronger than paper plates. The fact that they are nice looking and disposable doesn't hurt, either. I recommend them!

Purchased these plates for my daughter's bridal shower. I wanted something that was plastic but strong enough to carry food outside, and while still looking elegant. These were perfect. We had an outdoor garden luncheon and these looked beautiful on the tables. You would never know they were plastic! Strongly recommend.

These plates are nice to use. Gave a very elegant touch to our dinner. It will give me about 2-3 uses for each plate. Unfortunately these are a very thin plastic. Definitely not sturdy and they bend easily. Washed a plate after the first use and it broke easily.
