Its just another cable.
havent used it other than to test it, so longevity an unknown factor , good value and see no reason to think it will have a short life span, so far happy , would buy again.

Perfect, just what I needed
This just works. I got it to power my field monitor from my v-mount battery as powering via USB could not sustain the power.
