As someone who spends long hours at a desk and has been struggling with a bad back, I decided it was time to invest in a standing desk solution. After some research, I opted for the VIVO 107 cm Desk Converter, and I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. I'm giving it a full 5 stars! From the moment it arrived, I was impressed. The setup was incredibly straightforward. I was a bit worried I'd be spending my afternoon with complicated instructions and a bag full of screws, but it was practically ready to use straight out of the box. All I had to do was attach the keyboard tray, which took less than 10 minutes. The main reason for buying this was to have the flexibility to switch between sitting and standing, and I'm hoping this will make a real difference to my back pain. The mechanism for raising and lowering the desk is brilliant. It's assisted by gas springs, so it requires very little effort to lift, even with my large monitor, laptop, speakers, and other bits and pieces on it. A simple squeeze of the handle on the side, and it glides up or down to the desired height smoothly and quietly. The build quality feels really solid and stable, both in the sitting and standing positions. There's no wobble, which was a key concern for me. The surface area is generous; as you can see from my pictures, it easily accommodates my widescreen monitor and laptop, with plenty of space left over. The separate keyboard and mouse tray is also a great feature, as it keeps my typing posture comfortable and ergonomic. Overall, I can't recommend this desk converter enough. It's a high-quality, well-designed, and easy-to-use piece of kit that has transformed my workspace. If you're looking for an affordable and effective way to create a sit-stand setup, look no further.

Perfect standing desk for my home office. I was conscious that I was sat down for too long when working from home so got this after reading the reviews. Incredibly easy to set up with easy to follow instructions. It has a weight limit, and I’ve got a fairly heavy Phillips 32” monitor, but I checked the weight of the monitor before purchasing this and it was within the weight guidelines with capacity to spare. It’s so easy to lower and higher the platform .. even with the weight of the monitor - just make sure you’re stood right next to it not bending forward towards it, or you could hurt your back. I stand behind the platform which is close to the edge of the desk, put my left hand on the handle, my right hand further along the back of the platform and whilst squeezing the handle, use that and my right hand to gently lift it up. The hydraulics help immensely. When putting it back down at the end of the day I just make sure that my keyboard cable (which is clipped to the underside of the platform with the provided clips) is clear of the metal frame so it doesn’t get trapped when the platform lowers. To lower it just squeeze the handle, give a little push and down it goes with ease. You can adjust the height to anything you want (obviously within the perameters set) but I’ve found this goes high enough for me (at 5’5) and it does go even higher than that. Build quality is excellent and doesn’t take up much more footprint on the desk than my monitor/laptop/keyboard setup did. Would recommend for those who want to alternate between sitting and standing during the day. I’m not sure if there is a “shelf life” for the hydraulics system but I guess time will tell. Excellent value for money.

Ridiculously easy to assemble, literally 5 mins. Very easy to use, height is perfect on this one when i am standing up (i am 6ft). One down side is the Keyboard tray is FIXED once assembled. If this was foldable or could slide this literally is a 'move anywhere' work station. I woild have no problems putting this in when working away in hotels etc. It does say can use two monitors, well they would have to be small, i would say max 15 inches each. Overall delighted!!!!

I have been looking at standing desk options for quite some time, but could find nothing that gave me the required space, the option of converting my existing desk was a solution at the fraction of the cost of buying a replacement desk. On delivery I was surprised at how heavy the convertor was, it is very sturdy and robust. Assembly is extremely easy - four screws secure the keyboard shelf in position, fit the rubber feet and you're ready to go! Cut the cable tie holding the shelf in position, with no weight on it the assembly rises like a rocket - scared the living dayights out of me! By the time the shelf is loaded with a monitor, laptop and odds & sods etc the rate of rise is more sedate! Raising the convertor is achieved by operating a lever on the right hand side - you therefore need to make sure there is clearance on the right-hand side of the convertor to access the lever easily - 3 to 4" is sufficient. Lowering the convertor is achieved by operating the lever and pushing down on the convertor monitor shelf, there is a latch on the right of the convertor to secure the assembly on the fully down position. In the raised position the convertor is very stable - even at maximum height it would require considerable effort to knock it over! The keyboard shelf is a good size - large enough for a full size keyboard, mouse and A5 notepad Practically in everyday use it is great - so much easier and relaxing to be able to stand and move around particularly when in meetings and still be able to use the keyboard/mouse and take notes as required. Great buy - only regret not buying this earlier!

Great product! I hardly write reviews, but this product is just really good! It works great, you can easily put it up and down, the quality is really nice, and the price is really affordable if you compare it to a standing desk. Recommended!

Excellent standing desk option for my desk at home. Very easy to assemble. The lift mechanism works great and it’s very easy to adjust the height. Good quality. I haven’t experienced issues with wobbling like other reviewers mentioned. I went with the distressed wood version and it looks great: very satisfied with my purchase.

Very sturdy and Nice finish. Easy to use

I’m actually quite surprised at the quality of this product, it far exceeded my expectations! Working from home and sitting down all day fatigues my muscles and this converter is perfect. Easy to assemble, lifting and lowering it is a breeze. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to roll the keyboard stand under the desk instead of having it protrude all of the time. I wish the keyboard stand wasn’t stationary and had the ability to retract in and out of the desk but other that that, I love it!

After a few years of use I can say this standing desk converter is very high quality. It's very easy to lift and lower with the handle and holds both my monitors fairly well. Unlike other reviewers I've found my unit to be very stable, perhaps due to the weight of my monitors. The size fits two monitors side by side as well as my keyboard and mouse on the lower shelf. It's adjustable to any height in-between the top and bottom so it's useful for someone tall like myself or someone shorter as well. The installation was quick and easy - just a few screws on the bottom shelf. I would strongly recommend this item, and have recommended it to coworkers.
