Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Copenhagen

I am in love with Nyx Lip products! The feel is creamy and glides on effortlessly. It isn't drying the way most matte lipsticks tend to be. The color is highly pigmented and pops on my lips. I am slowly working my way into every shade in this collection of Matte Lip Creams. You will definitely want to double the layer. Just remember to use a matching Nyx lip liner and let the first layer of lip cream dry in between applications. Don't touch your lips together until you are finished and your results should be beautiful. So far, my absolute favorites in this Matte Lip Cream line are London and Copenhagen. These two mix well with a lip brush too, for a beautiful "bitten berry" type shade. I bought Transylvania for my daughter and she wears it beautifully. Her complexion is more caramel with dark hair and eyes. For reference, I have light hair, green eyes and fair skin. And have always worn nude type shades on my lips. I wanted to try something new and found Nyx Lip products to be very user friendly. I never thought I could wear colors so bold before, but Nyx made me fall in love with color for my lips. Follow the instructions for these as they don't go on like ordinary lip gloss. These are special and the color really lasts. I love them!

Pros: -Not drying -Dries to soft matte finish (like it claims) -Beautiful beautiful color (it's a bluer berry, which makes teeth look whiter!) -Less than $7! LC Velvetines may have plenty of appeal, but I definitely wouldn't argue that they're 3x better than these. Will definitely be purchasing another one of these lip creams. Cons: -(mostly due to the color) Sinks a little bit into lines -Vanilla/frosting-like smell (could be a pro for many, but for me it's a little too sweet) Notes: -The cream is very pigmented, but even though it's quite dark, it can be built up. -Save yourself some time to apply this: you'll DEFINITELY want to use lip liner (since a mess-up on this dark color would be obvious). The cream takes some time to dry (I'd give it at least 10 or 15 minutes at least before touching it) but it's definitely worth it. -Overall, very solid choice for an every-day matte lip color. I'll definitely be returning to this line of product for my matte lip needs! :)

Love this lip product. Beautiful deep berry color. The wand is a doe foot applicator and applies really nicely. Goes on a little streaky but corrects pretty easily. It applies really nicely over itself as well. Once on the lips, it dries down pretty quickly. It's also kiss proof and does not come of on your chin while eating or other people's face while kissing. Comes off a little after eating but a quick touch up works. Great product for the price and just as good as higher end items. Highly recommend.

I really like the color of this lipstick but in order to achieve the color advertised you must add multiple coats. Applying multiple coats causes the lipstick to get very patchy and also dries the lip. It was difficult trying to keep my lips moisturized by licking them without ruining the overall look of the lipstick. I highly recommend a lip balm before u put the lipstick on , adding a lip balm before will help keeep your lips moisturized but it will affect the look, it will be a little glossy than very matte. It is also very difficult to remove the remaining lipstick on the lip. I would also say that it takes long to dry while applying.

The Nyx matte Lip Cremes are pretty awesome. They are easy to apply and you won't need a lip liner either. They look super matte after they dry (which admittedly takes around 15-25 minutes) but the richness of the matte colour are worth it. It doesn't stain much after drying but does come off quite a bit while eating (which lipstick doesn't?). The only negative part about this is that it kind of crumbles unevenly when it comes off, so it looks quite bad when it does, and you need to scrub off most of it before you can reapply. Overall, it's still one of my favourites, especially Copenhagen.

AMAZING color. Rich creamy texture. Stays on as well as a stain without the drying effects. Don't LOVE that I almost always need a touch up after a drink or couple bites of food. To prevent this during dinners or meetings, I apply a colored thick, but not sticky, lipgloss - you could use any color or clear you would like. I would recommend a colored gloss 1/2 to 1 shades lighter (I use Buxom lip plumping - can't remember the name) and it helps keep your cream lipstick on your mouth instead of on your wine glass and forks ;) You won't be disappointed. Don't be afraid to go explore these deep rich wine colors. They really DO look good on almost every skin tone and are appropriate for almost any event :) this has become my new staple!

For this price and quality I enjoy it. for some reason pictures look lighter then expected, and to make it as dark just a few coats are needed after a little drying embetween and I would probably add liner before apply as well because it can get a little sloppy around the edges. but the hold up is great, and even when not removing before eating, which is nearly impossible, this stuff is on for good till you are able to get it completely off with your removal. love it. thank you

I was not impressed with this product. Based on reviews I thought it would be good, but after six or seven swipes I still didn't see much color. Perhaps I am spoiled from using Lime Crime and Jeffrey Star, but this product was pretty lousy. A fresh application looked like a better matte lip after hours of wearing (with eating and drinking involved). I thought I would try this out since my usual mattes are pretty pricey, but it appears they are worth the money in the end.

Ich habe diesen Lipgloss von NYX in Copenhagen (dunkles Lila) und in einem Knallrot. Nach dem Auftragen werden beide matt. Das auftragen mit der cremigen Substanz ist ganz einfach und angenehm. Danach spürt man keine Cremige Substanz (so wie bei Lipgloss / Lippenstift) mehr auf den Lippen. Sie fühlen sich ganz normal an. Der Lipgloss trocknet die Lippen auch nicht aus. Schade das man bei matten Lipgloss einfach jedes Risschen und Futzelchen haut sieht. :)

Facilissimo da applicare, l'effetto opaco rende molto bene e il colore si può facilmente marcare o smorzare a piacimento. Resiste anche bene durante il giorno :)

C'est un très bon produit. Il assèche effectivement un peu les lèvres mais rien de gênant. Il faut bien attendre que ça sèche (plusieurs minutes) pour être sûr qu'il y ai le moins de transferts possible, il y en aura toujours un peu, notamment sur les tissus si on appui, et parfois sur la peau. La couleur Copenhagen est magnifique et je la porte très souvent.

I absolutely adore this product, it's amazing and so cheap for the quality. It has a lovely 'cake mixture' smell to it and it goes on really creamy and mattifies after a short amount of time. The colour is a perfect dark red and i believe it would suit alot of complexions. It lasts about 4 hours (sometimes longer) however within that time it does start to rub off close to the inner lip and needs to be ra-applied. but that's to be expected from any lip cream really. I personally really love it and love how you can put more of it on for a darker effect or less for a more subtle effect. Definately would recommend (although i believe you can get these slightly cheaper on the NYX or boots website.
