Gerbing12V Portable Dual-Zone Temp Controller

The media could not be loaded. Bought back in January of 2024 for the winter riding season. Works as intended, but noticed it started cracking after a 6hr ride. Bits and pieces started to break away now I have to wrap it in electrical tape in order to use it. I’ve had it for about 6 months. I hope there’s some sort of warranty on this. I bought the dual controller to replace a different brand that I lost. It worked very well with Gerbing vest and gloves, but failed in a couple months. When I contacted Gerbing they immediately sent me a replacement. So far the new one works flawlessly.

This Controller will save you from having your Gerbing electric gloves, vest, pants, or socks on high all the time. Those item can really heat up and you will start to sweat. This controller will take two items and give you the ability to turn it down where you won't sweat, still stay comfortable and save on your battery. Didn't get 5 stars because it's bulky and it's one more thing that goes on your belt or in your pocket. I have a 12v. battery with a power plug (cigarette lighter) and handle. I have to carry it but take the gloves and pants, hook them up to battery and I stay comfortable at winter sports events. Yes, I have to lug the battery around but when seated, I'm comfortable. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's bulky and it's one more thing to carry around. Sounds crazy I gripe about weight when I carry around a 4 pound battery but this thing would not work at all without the battery.

Works great for having dual heat zones for riding gear. I put jacket liner and gloves on one circuit and my pants and socks on another. Top half and body half don't always need the same amount of heat so a dual controller works great. And Gerbing is a great product. I've been a customer all the way back to when Gordon Gerbing was alive and still owned the company.

First things first, I gave it one star for touch screen and battery life because 1. There is no touch screen and 2. There is no battery as this gets power direct from the motorcycle battery. Okay, that out of the way, this works exactly like the original; my original stopped working on one side (this is after 11 years of use) and so I had to choose between warming my core or warming my hands. It was a lose/lose situation. So I purchase this so I would no longer have to make that choice. I rode in to work this morning warm as can be! Time will tell if this will last as long as the original that came with my gear. If you need a new controller, this is the one!

使い勝手はいいただし、インナーの中に入れると操作しにくいのでタンクに張り付けて使っている。
