Xbox Live Headset (Halo 2 Edition)

I have tried not all but most xbox and xbox 360 headsets and I believe this is the best one by far for the money. I used to play with my surround sound pretty high and this was the only headset that cancelled outside noise. I believe the audio was very acceptable and the boom mic was easily customizable. I have bought 5 already, 2 for myself (1 just incase I lose the other or it breaks) and 3 for my friends that loved it after they used it playing Halo Reach. I must admit that they only reason I don't use this headset anymore is the greatly increased benefit of using Turtle Beaches X41 wireless headset. I actually prefer these wireless headphones over ANY surround sound.

Why are people allowed to Say "with communicator" if they are not including it?? This is bull and Amazon should not allow this deceptive stuff.....

Fairly low quality headset, but that's what you expect from a 10 year old ear piece.

For those who don't know the difference between this "with communicator" version of the headset, and the original version...The "communicator" piece is the actual black module that lets you plug the headset into the memory card slot of the controller. It also goes by the name "the puck". The original version of this headset (still available) didn't come with this connecting piece. If you wanted to use your brand new Halo 2 Edition headset, you needed to already have the 1st party xbox communicator puck in order to actually USE the headset. If you don't already have that communicator piece from another headset, this complete version is definitely the way to go.

my fiancée says that this is the besthead set fthat was made for the xbox and xbox360 .. all others fail too quickly!!

I really enjoyed this product. It came with four different ear pieces and two of them fit really well. If you are going to buy this product, make sure to buy it with the communicator. The only problem i found with this product is that the cord is pretty sort so it gets in the way. For sure worth the 49.00 dollars.

Great headset that still works on 360, and One. It says a lot about that quality that went into this headset since it still works rather well, and in my opinion is better than others currently available for the Xbox One.
