Schmidt Universal Fountain Pen Ink Converter

Works perfectly, i needed a smaller converter for my Montblanc generation i’ve been using for schoolwork and papers and this perfectly fit the bill. Works smoothly and makes cleaning a piece of cake, the inkflow is perfect and it holds quite a bit of ink.

I have resurrected my old DuPont Laque de Chine fountain pen and needed a converter for it - have you priced DuPont cartridges? A good sushi dinner costs less. And their converters are twice the price of this company's. This initial converter that I received from Lanier was just a bit too wide so I contacted the company and Jim sent a skinnier converter in exchange. That converter is narrower and fits well and is quite easy to use. Just one note: the end that fits into the front of the pen (pardon me - I'm clueless on proper fountain pen anatomy) is not very snug but it seems not to leak ink in this particular pen. Handy tip: you open the pen, do so holding the point down. Five stars on the converter and ten stars on the customer service.

I bought this to use with an old Levenger fountain pen. I do not know what it is called, but it is yellow metal with a ribbed barrel and a pretty fine nib. The cartridge ink refills never worked properly (clogs and skipping made me hate the pen) and I tucked the pen in the back of a drawer. 20 years later, I figured I'd try to find a converter and see if the cartridge ink was just inadequate. Happily, this one fits and using a good quality ink has turned this pen into a regular user! The converter fits fine, doesn't leak, works very smoothly and is made well.

I love converter, but sadly it is too long to fit in my current go to fountain pen. However, I can secure the pen using tape without sacrificing comfort and consistency. All in all it is a good product, that I'm sure will work with my other pens. My pen of reference is the Platinum Preppy fountain pen. (Highly recommended for beginners, and budget conscious writers)

Does a great job in the aluminum fountain pen from Muji. I always use Platinum Carbon Black ink and this handles it very nicely. It’s a little expensive for what it is, and I don’t believe it was on Prime so I had to wait like a month for it to arrive, but once it did, it started doing its job fantastically.

It's not universal and will not stay seated on the post of your pen. It will come out with great ease without you removing the barrell and removing it yourself. Just stick with whatever brand your pen is. Their converters are made for their pens.

Good converter. Compatible with Amazon basic fountain pen China made and waterman graduate and hemisphere fountain pens.This will solve problems of convertors for these pens.I need one or two such converters in all.Drawback is that it’s more expensive than other converters like parker and jinhao. Otherwise no problem.

Algunos se quejan de que no es universal, porque no sirve para todas las plumas. Obviamente no puede servir para todas, porque algunas tienen sistemas propios de la marca (Parker, Shaeffer, etc.). Pero una gran parte de las plumas pueden compartir cartuchos y convertidores, y por eso se llama a su sistema "universal". Es el caso de Waterman, Montblanc, Kaweco, Inoxcrom, Faber castell, y un largo etcétera.

I was looking for a converter that could fit a Montblanc Star Walker..... And finally I found it.... This is the real thing.... Fits well and it doesn't leak anything... Great!
