2500 prism bags later - I have to say, so far this is the best strong/robust earl grey that actually packs a punch when it comes to slight bite of astringency (black teas should not be "ultra smooth" in my opinion), texture and holds up very well with a thin slice of a calabrian lemon. The prism structure is loaded with gunpowder type tea, these are not huge leaves and this ensures you can get a strong cup without double-bagging. Bergamot perfume is just right, not overpowering and doesnt create false promises when brewed with zero citrus transfer like many other teamakers. I tried dozens of brands , big and small, boutique and flagship, money no object and I always come back to this tea time and time again. On a sidenote - please ensure you are tasting the prism version, paperbag flavour is non-existent as it draws out everything from leafs itself.

These little pyramids of earl grey tea are packed full of flavour, I absolutely love them, if you like Earl Grey you’ll love these! The tea bag pyramids are nothing like other EG tea, no dust here! You can actually see little bits of bergamot & other plants, not to mention a healthy quantity of proper tea leaves. I cannot get enough of them & it’s the only tea I’ll drink now! The bergamot, citrus & spicy taste are all here, but not overwhelmingly so. Expensive , yes, but you have to pay for quality and these are top quality

This tea is lovely, I know this as i have bought it many times, but this seller sent me Great Rift Decaff instead. A reply from them to my message informing them of this didn’t reach me (and didn’t show on my Amazon account, not sure why) but now they advise that a replacement is on the way, so that’s fine.

Excellent quality tea. Medium strength with a good bergamot flavour. Close to a loose tea brew. Could you do a early grey with lavender 🪻 please???? 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Each individual tea bag is pyramid shaped with a tag. They look a cut above regular tea bags, more importantly they taste superb. Everyone comments on how good this tea is.

I was happy with the price of this earl grey. usually a pyramid teabag means a more potent flavour and this really packs the tastebuds full of flavour. Its very pleasing to me as i like a good strong tea and makes it more luxurious to me. It certainly has a more floral flavour and i love that! If you prefer your tea to taste mostly like black tea, then better off with normal teabags and maybe supermarkets own brands. Teapigs earl grey wasnt very strong for the earl grey flavour, so i tried to find something else while adapting to this isolation business of not going out much. Im very pleased and will definitely buy a gain.

I would give no stars if I could and I have had to resubmit this review. Anyway, the teabags did not taste of Earl Grey whatsoever. They tasted of black tea and nothing else. I know what they are supposed to taste like as I have used this brand of tea bags for over a year. The first box of these teabags I purchased was excellent and were exactly as they should be. Sadly this second box was not excellent.

I can’t catch the earl grey notes in this tea. Is not unpleasant but is very strong and does not taste like earl grey to me.

It’s like having a pot of loose tea and a little bag in your cup. My husband, a lot of times will use these teabags instead of making the loose tea in another pot.
