How are you all able to sell this so much chieper the the actual company that sells the product? My worry is that is this the real product?

I want to use it but not sure first time to use 0.25 or 0.5? I am 48 years old and worry about 0.25 doesn't work and .5 is too strong for me to start

If you have never used a retinol before it is always best to start with a milder formula, and there is definitely a difference between the .25 and the bump up to .50! I was using .5, having moved up to that when I finished the .25 bottle and all went well until I did a cycling event that went into the late morning hours (finished around 11am). I wound up with a chemical burn and my face peeled for about 3 weeks! And I did use sunscreen but obviously it wore off due to sweat/exertion . My skin looked great after the peeling, but I decided that it wasn't something I wanted to deal with all summer! So I am back to the .25 during the warm sun-intensive months and will go up to .5 again after September. If you have sensitive skin (and I do somewhat), that may be the highest you will be able to go. I only use the retinol at night and use Power of Three serum during the day under moisturizer--and love that product as well. Hope this help!

Why wasn’t the box or container sealed when it arrived? It should be if it is new.

Recommendation: You are absolutely right. When my purchase arrived it was sealed as required. Please contact Amazon customer service and the seller.

Is this comparable to Tretinoin Cream, 0.1% made by Allegan?

Retinol needs to be converted to acid by the body to be useful, retin-a is the converted acid and is already useful. So, not comparable at all. Two different products.
