It my favorite Black and white film at this moment! Heavy black and contrasting white, I love it!

Having not shot a single b&w image on film since 2001 I was reluctant to go back for a long time. Digital cameras have spoiled a lot of young photographers and have made the "art" all too easy. Before my most recent trip to Las Vegas I decided to go back to b&w since every single other person in that city would no doubt be taking pictures of the colors, the lights, the neon on phones and DSLRs. I wanted to do something different and figured b&w film in my 1959 AGFA Optima would bring out the grit and noir side of the grimmest city in the world. There's not a lot of choice when it comes to easily available b&w film these days but this APX 100 brand was a nice change from the bog-standard Ilford film that you find everywhere. Definitely a film to shoot with if you want to explore the "otherworld" lurking beneath reality.

Poor quality product

Habe das Produkt gekauft, um meine Olympus AF-1 Twin mit einem halbwegs günstigen Film zu testen und war sehr überrascht von der Qualität der Aufnahmen. Vor allem die Portaitaufnahmen sind sehr schön geworden, aber auch die hier beigefügten Landschaftsbilder können sich meiner Meinung nach sehen lassen.

I dare say that this film was totally fine and a good price point, but I wasn't 100% clear in the description that it was black and white. I would have used it myself, but it was for my mother in law who wanted colour.I had rapid delivery and sent it back without opening for a rapid refund! Thanks for the excellent customer service and I'm sorry I made a mistake in that case!

5本くらい使ってみました。刺激的ではないがリアルな仕上がりが印象的です。また濃淡はアクロスほどはない印象です。（悪くいえば薄いような？→焼く時になんとでもなります。）現像時間については探すのに苦労しましたが、AGFA社の海外ホームページでPDFファイルをダウンロードする形で掲載されていました。品質も安定していて概ね気に入っています。高感度のapx400も使ってみましたが仕上がり自体はあまり変わらないのでapx400の方がいいかもしれません。
