Great Straps - don't crack in sun. Got back from 9 month project using them daily as ladder straps, still in perfect condition with no cracking. I have used "auto parts brand" straps that started to crack in 30 days of sun exposure. These are the good ones.As far as reviews saying they don't stretch very far - that is typical for EPDM straps regardless of brand. If you want something that stretches out, get a bungee cord - but don't expect a bungee cord to support a load or last very long in the weather.

Good quality. Heavy body with thick hooks, like the ones you can buy at a truck stop. The ones I bought six months ago do not appear to have sun cracking yet. I use a lot of straps and bungees on trailers and cover tie downs. Some are just lousy--like the skinny ones you buy at a prominent Chinese tool store--they survive two months before cracking and have little stretch. I just ordered more Kotap straps.

The usual straps are stretchy and light duty. I used these under a once-expensive recliner that had a sagging seat. Good as new! There is limited stretch available and so you have to be careful as to what length to order.

After only about a month the rubber strapping began to crack and brake. I dont know if I got bad product but what I received started to crack and come apart and only after a few months are completely useless.Update: Put in a request to return but have gotten no reply from seller. And Amazon tells me its to late to file a claim, buy did I get screwed on this purchase. I dont know how other people can say they are good straps, they are junk. I would like a call from the seller.

Very well made and heavy duty. These look to be very durable and and should survive the summer sun. They are ridged, but still have some stretch as needed. Hooks are also very durable and strong and will not bend out of shape.

I bought these straps in several sizes; I just keep finding uses for them. They don't stretch really far, but they hold really well. I do hope they will hold out when used outdoors in all weather situations.

This type bungy is far better than that the elastic type with the fabric cover. And a good price. Shipping was fast and the fully met my expectations. I'm sure they'll last years. I'm ordering a package of 15" ones as well.

They hold up well in outside weather - they don't crack and fall apart in a few months.

They were smaller then i thought and didn't stretch as far as i had hoped but i am using them they do the job.

Once stretched they seem to stay about 3-4" longer than when they came out of package.
