Brilliant sound and clarity
Upgrade your speakers and start listening now! I’m hard of hearing in both ears and with these, I don’t have to turn my volume all the way up! Now I do have them on 12 of 15 on my motorcycle volume, but it seems plenty loud enough and clear enough that I can understand every single word. My helmet, bike and phone all connect together very easily via Bluetooth and I can listen to my music and gps. These are worth double what I paid. Seriously. Sena can’t hold a candle to the volume and clarity of these. Absolutely love them.

Sound quality is great
This fits great in my helmet and gives me a little louder sound while riding.

A must upgrade.
If you own the LS2 Helmets Advant X Modular Helmet with Integrated Cardo 4X Bluetooth, then this upgrade is for you. These earphones transformed a very disappointing purchase into a helmet worth wearing. Finally sound I was initially expecting. Shame or LS and Cardo for offering poor quality sound and forcing a pricey upgrade. I’ll say it, Sena comes from the factory with superior sound.

I would recommend almost anything from this company
I've had a Cardo in my helmets since 2020 . Packtalk Bold . My speaker for finally worn out and I needed a replacement . I bought these and the first ones that came to me sounded worse than my old ones . Contacted Cardo customer service they were very helpful . And they sent me a replacement item quickly . When the new headphones got here they sounded amazing I put them in my helmet and been jamming them ever since .

Update: Big Upgrade
UPDATE: I upraded helmets from the Bell Qualifier DLX which has a mesh/fabric flap that covers the speakers, to a Shoei RF-SR that places the speaker directly on your ear without it being covered. The speakers sound AMAZING, very clear and bassy, and I don't have to turn the volume up as much now. Definitely make sure it's not your helmet or the positioning first. I have the Cardo Spirit HD with 40mm speakers, and decided I'd upgrade to these for better sound quality and hopefully volume. If you already have the Spirit HD speakers, these are not an upgrade. They're quieter, the sound profiles are somehow worse (less bass,) and the price just isn't worth it. They do have slightly crisper sound at lower volumes, but I would recommend just keeping the HD speakers, they're about the best you're gonna get from Cardo. If you're upgrading from other speakers, these ARE good, they aren't low quality at all, and the sound is clear. It gets muddy at high volume, but most other speakers probably do that. I think the price would be worth it if I was upgrading from lower quality speakers.

We need to talk
I'm conflicted about this review. First, i own a Cardo Spirit HD headset (two of them actually) which comes with JBL speakers. They're 40mm, so a bit smaller than these. Cardo has an app to download firmware and control your headset. Like all motorcycle comms, the price was outrageous. I will never know why they're so expensive. It's bluetooth. And 2 speakers. You can do all that and more for 20 bucks. Want it in a helmet? Five thousand dollars. Anyway, the Cardo app has sound profiles that you can switch between like "bass boost" or "high volume". Except they don't work. They're THERE, but they're greyed out. How do you get access to them? Buy these speakers of course! 99 dollar pay wall for audio access. With that said, these ARE an upgrade. Bigger drivers means better sound. It always has, and always will. Yes, paying another hundred bucks to get what you should've already got kinda sucks, but a helmet and comms will run you 6 million dollars nowadays, so what's another hundred right? TL;DR- Should be standard, but it's not. Absolutely worth the price. Better sound, higher volume, EQ controls unlocked.

Don’t have to use with Cardo
Solid speakers. Can be used on anything with a headphone jack, but sounds best with a FIIO BTR5. I first tried with a cheap Bluetooth receiver (see pic) and it sounded thin and barely loud enough to hear over my bike, more annoying than enjoyable. Then I added a cheap inline headphone amp (see pic) based on a review for these speakers.. it increased the volume but still sounded like a tin can and would distort at the desired volume. No bueno. I then semi-splurged on the BTR5 and lemme tell ya….. it’s the real deal. Doesn’t have the full thump of high-end over ear headphones that create a seal around your ears, but it definitely sounds amazing. Maybe better than my Beats Fit Pro earbuds. The EQ settings are nice. Speaker placement directly over the ears is important. These speakers can sound really good but you need a quality BT receiver/amplifier to drive them. I dunno how the Cardo unit compares, it could be awesome too, but I’be heard varying reviews and I didn’t want to deal with the intercom stuff.

Very exspensive disappointment
They work great until they don't. In the specifications they say it uses the standard 3.5mm audio jack. But that's not the truth, when trying to hook it up the female end doesn't allow the male end to seat all the way inside making it have a very poor and lose connection that cuts in and out constantly. For $100 speakers I've purchases $20 speakers that worked better for their intended purpose. Once again a company makes it where you can only use their product with their accessories. Turning a $90 pair of speakers into a +$200 setup because of their parts monopoly.
