We purchased this brand because we were heading to Hawaii and wanted to find a sunscreen that wasn't harmful to coral or the ocean in general. There are a few ingredients in most sunscreens that are bad for the environment (and possibly us). I was absolutely disappointed by this product. It is hard to apply, I still got burned because it rinses off easily in water and it stained some of my brand new swimwear, permanently. I have NEVER had these issues with sunscreen before. I wanted a sunscreen that was safer for sea life as I was going on a tropical vacation. Bought this junk and ended up having to buy something else at my resort so I didn't char and didn't ruin any more swimsuits. Even if they refunded my cost for the terrible sunscreen, I won't be able to recoup the cost of the ruined swimwear. A complete and utter disappointment and I hope no one else has the same misfortune I did.

I know I was extremely weary about the product when ordering it. I’m extremely fair skinned and tend to sunburn. It was one of the requirements on our cruise ship and at beaches we would be going on our cruise that we had reef safe sunblock. The sunblock match the criteria for reef safe sunblock and protection. I was on a two week Caribbean cruise use this religiously multiple times throughout the day when I was in the sun came back with a A slightly golden paint tan but no burns due to sun exposure which is a win for me. If you have concerns about if this product will protect you from the sun take it from the Irish Alaska girl who use this in a Caribbean cruise and didn’t get burnt it works and smells good try it and I think you’ll like it.

The best sunscreen there is for protecting against UVA and UVB rays. It has just enough zinc oxide for protection, yet it doesn't leave the skin looking pale white. It feels light on the skin and gives off a nice glow. It's non-greasy and has a nice hint of tangerine smell that's refreshing. It's worth the extra money compared to name brands that doesn't give as much protection. I've been using this for about a year and I apply as often as needed.

I started looking into using a mineral sunscreen when I read about the bad chemicals in chemical sunscreens. I tried several brands before I found Thinksport. It goes on the clearest and makes the least mess. Many of the other ones rub off on anything you touch. I am not sure if it protects as well as my old chemical sunscreen, but have not gotten a sunburn yet. I put it on my arms when I go for my daily walk of about 45 minutes. I use a different face sunscreen, but if I was going to go to the beach or go swimming, I would put this on my face instead.

This is a really nice zinc oxide sunscreen that's easier to spread than most. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's pricey, as is everything that's better for humans and for the environment!

My wife and I both ended up getting burned despite multiple applications of this sunscreen. The day we wore this sunscreen was the only day we got burned during a two-week trip to Hawaii. We switched to other reef-safe sunscreens after this one failed to work, and those others worked fine. Would not recommend this one.

My 16 yr old daughter is a life guard in SC. She hasn't burned once!
