I ordered this brush for my girlfriend while hiding with the dog in his crate. Before this brush; every morning was a war. A war between my girlfriend's beautiful long hair and obviously substandard brushes. I'm so glad I found this thing since all attempts at an exorcism failed. Now the dog and i eat breakfast sitting on the couch while my beautiful girlfriend listens to music from the bathroom. Gone are the explicative outbursts; involuntary expression of my dog's anal gland and threats to "cut it all off." Peace has returned to the land.6 month update! We are still "bob" free and the brush is holding up well. It goes with her to the gym every morning. Now we're expecting a second!

This beautiful brush has a finish on it that I believe causes flyaway hair (static). I've had another sandalwood brush that was not lacquered like this one and my hair did not fly away. Thinking of returning it. The brush does feel good in my hands..nice weight and thickness to the brush.

This is the closest thing to a perfect hairbrush that I've ever owned. The size, the shape, the weight, even the subtle sandalwood fragrance are wonderful. The rounded wood bristles detangle and smooth without ever snagging or tearing my hair. Highly recommended.
