Sweepovac-9800260 Built in Kitchen Vacuum Plus Hose and 2 attachments for Below Cabinets and Toe Kick Spaces

After having a new floor installed in my kitchen, I decided that I needed this vac. My 17 yr. old grandson installed it in less than 45 minutes, which he said was easy. I love this thing. It works great and is such a convenience. Turns on/off with my foot eliminating having to bend down with a dustpan all the time. I opted to buy the extra hose for when I want to get places a broom would be difficult. Best investment ever. Highly recommend.

The cabinet I wanted to place this in only allowed the unit to be installed on the front, not the side (this was due to the length of vacuum). Not a big problem, but you want to make sure there is plenty of room. It's not "short." Cutting the hole was done with an oscillating tool instead of a sabre saw. This seemed to be an easier way to go. Lastly, I had originally intended to plug this into the garbage disposal outlet under the sink but it only works when the switch is flipped on for the disposal. Instead I ran wires to a separate electrical box. Works well and we are pleased with it but it was not slam-dunk-easy to install. I do wish they offered optional face plates. It would be nice to have a color that didn't stand out as much.

I decided to put this install on hard mode and installed it in my stairs. If installed into the base of a cabinet it should be a pretty straightforward installation. Suction is great. The product comes fully assembled with minimal effort to remove the face plate to access the screws for mounting. Very pleased with this product. I ordered the version with the hose and vacuum attachments which also came with three bags included. I bought this product to replace a stick vacuum I was using in my kitchen because the vacuum didn’t hold that much dirt and roommates kept stealing the charger it plugged into. Helpful that this plugs directly into the wall and you just sweep the dirt into it at floor level rather that walking around with a dust pan full of dirt and dumping it in the trash.

I am very excited to get this installed in my remodeled kitchen. I look forward to not having to use a dustpan and being able to just sweep dry messes in here. Update: I absolutely love this. I not only sweep dirt into the unit without having to bend down to use a dustpan, but the house attachment is the best. The contractors left a lot of dust and debris under the lazy susans and in the far corners of the deep cabinets. The 6 foot hose reached all those cupboards and I was able to clean all that out. The hose is great when I need to clean up when grandkids track sand in the kitchen and grandbabies drop food on the floor.

It’s a little loud, and you have to kind of shove the dirt into, but I’m so thankful to not have to use a dustpan.

It's easy to install, has adequate suction for the job and convenient. It's virtually hidden at the toe kick. I bought the hose attachment and although suction isn't tops at a distance from device it's useful for cleaning out kitchen drawers and countertops. I would recommend this to friends and family.

I’ve had 3 Dysons in the past but decided to do less expensive this time. And so far I am extremely pleased with it. I only do floors, not carpet or rugs so I’m not sure how it would perform. But I love the light, I love how light it is, I love that it is so easy to remove it from wall hook, and it works perfectly. Hopefully it will last.
