Visually Sebo vacumn cleaners are somewhat dated and a little cumbersome but functionally they are great. So if you are interested in performance over fashion then I highly recommend this cleaner. The suction is very good and although it is heavier than some of the cordless vacumn cleaners around, I find it quite manageable including on the stairs. The flex is long and allows easy cleaning of stairs and large rooms. If you have arthritis etc in your hands then it is probably a little too heavy but for anyone else the weight is more than made up for by the suction. I have found it gets into the edges very well and the maneuverability is excellent. This is an expensive cleaner but I know from experience that with Sebos last. The plastic is not the type that brakes and fractures and can endure the normal banging and bashing that vacumn cleaners get. I hope this is useful.

I love this machine, I’ve had vax, dyson, shark and they were all ok but never anything more. This one may just be the best vacuum I’ve ever had. Yes it’s clunky and can be a bit heavy for frailer older people but it’s quick and the suction is strong. I use it with the bag fresheners and they smell rather good and get rid of the smell of my dog. It get all his hairs up with no hassle. The only thing I would’ve liked was the hose for stairs to be longer as cleaning my stairs is a bit of a faff as you have to balance the hoover and stop it from tipping over while on the stairs. Other than that I have zero issues with this product. If I’d discovered it years ago it would’ve saved me a fortune on all the other vacuums I’ve bought in the past.

Quality is good, Performance is Good, Stability not so good when using the hose. It's a little heavy.. Love this hoover , a good quality make, that was a good price also. Picks up dog hairs better than my Dyson. !!

This vacuum cleaner not only looks great, it’s a strong well made machine and has the best pick up suction both in the upright position and using the hose and tools, it also has the longest lead of any other brand I’ve ever owned. The hose stretches almost up the entire staircase in my cottage too. I would have given it 5 stars right across the board but for the fact that it can sometimes tip over when using just the pipes if you have to perch it on the staircase - it takes practice to stop this happening - my other half hates it for that reason -I think he just needs more practice 😉. I already have a Sebo Felix pet which has been going strong for around 10 years...with two hairy border collies a good machine is a must have. I have had bagless Dyson uprights and cordless ones which were far more expensive than the Sebo and despite regular maintenance just lose their oomph! You don’t always get what you pay for. The Sebo dust bags are easy to use and have a cap to close when changing them so no big clouds of horrible dust and dirt flying up in your face, my one concern was vacuuming dog hair can cause your machine to take on a doggy odour and no matter how clean your dogs are - and mine are not smelly mutts - it still can leave the slight hint of an uninviting whiff when you’ve hoovered, however using the scented air fresheners suitable for vacuum cleaners definitely does the trick - I have just tried out Wilko’s citrus discs and they are brilliant. Sebo also do ones that look like little pellets but I have to say from personal experience I prefer the Wilko ones. This pretty rose patterned machine is for another property and my faithful old Sebo continues to run like a obsessive compulsive cleaners dream all these years later! Well done Sebo for coming up with some very attractive but built for the job machines. Just one other criticism but not a deal breaker - I do think Sebo should supply a long extension pipe with the machine as standard - you can order separately though, they do include a brush and a short pipe but neither can clip to the machine whilst not in use and this means you have to have somewhere to keep them and in a big house you’d want to have them with you whilst hoovering, however this notwithstanding I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this machine.

Without a doubt the best vacuum cleaning I've ever had or used. Brilliant suction, especially with 3 furry animals, great for cleaning up pet hair from carpets. It's a little heavy, but the heavier the machine the better quality when it comes to vacuums in my opinion. 😂 Edit: changed to 4 stars, it's lasted me less than 3 years, if the wire is pointed a certain way it stops, and now the brush has stopped spinning despite cleaning it etc, it won't come back on. So I'll need a new one.

Had a Sebo before, bought a Dyson which was a mistake, returned to Sebo and this one is fabulous. Easy to use, yes a little heavy but it’s a quality item and made to be used. I admit I found the shape a little awkward at first but you get used to it. Bagged cleaners so much better and cleaner than dodgy Dyson bagless

This is a powerful vacuum and in theory should be easy to manoeuvre because the upright bit swivels and turns but it is so heavy that it is not easy to get it to go where you want it to go. The hose is quite short and often pulls the hoover over when being used with the tools. And it is a heavy thing to be falling over - it can do some damage if it falls on anything breakable. I find unclipping the upright bit and laying it flat on the floor is the safest way to use the hose, so it can't fall over. It does pick up the bits well but is very cumbersome and difficult to get up the stairs.

I wanted a powerful vacuum with easy to access hose attachment, the sebo delivers in both areas!
