Advanced Skills Batting Tee

This tee is great. I have a ton of softball & baseball equipment including a batting cage. I must say that this is definitely one of the best investments I've made for batting. It almost teaches on it own. When the tee is hit by the bat, my girls know exactly what they did to cause the wrong swing. They're able to make the proper adjustment to their swing immediately. Whether it's dropping the bat head or allowing their hands to get too far from their body, they're able to see and feel the mistake instantly. I was worried my bigger, stronger batters might Crack or even break the tee but i had to give it a shot and find out. Not a problem. It held up just fine.

Ordered this as a Christmas present for my 10yr old son for Christmas. He's going into his second year of travel baseball and loves to practice. This is a great product as it's typical to see kids dip their shoulder when hitting off of a tee and this prevents that. It will take him a bit of time to adjust to the arm design but it will help him be fundamentally correct with his swing dynamics as he grows up. Only thing I would have liked is if the hole to fill the base with sand was about a 1/2" bigger. I tried to make a funnel out of plastic a milk carton (I cut off the bottom and remove the cap) and put the lid in the hole. It almost fit but I made a bit of a mess. A typical funnel tends to not pour well as the sand plugs it up and the wide mouth on the milk carton has worked in the past for me (filing portable basketball backboard base). Great Product!!

Great Tee!!! When I first saw this one, I thought it was a gimmick.. But I did my research and looked at you tube videos of it in action.. It is a must to teach players of all ages not to dip and uppercut attempting to lift the ball.. This tee prevents this from happening and created the downward swing path to make them successful hitters. Extremely durable!! I've filled mine with sand in the bottom and beginners will smack the hell out it because of their uppercut swing and it stays upright and sturdy.. This tee is not going to break from getting hit by the bat like other tees I've purchased.. Once they get the hang of a proper swing, my 9 year olds rarely hit the tee... I would purchase this tee again....

This is a great training tool to correct the upper cut swing. I used one at a local High School while coaching. I bought one for myself, I use it for my 5yo and 7yo.

I like this tool, it definitely helps teach inside out swing. It can VERY quickly teach a young player how to whip the bat down through the strike zone. It’s also very tough and can take some hard whacks with metal bats. The only caveat I’ll add is that I do wish the height of the bristles was slightly more adjustable. This is because although a lot of coaches these days say to swing down or swing “inside out”, that is not the only way to succeed in baseball. Watch slow motion swings of Ted Williams or Barry Bonds or many others and you’ll see their bat does indeed dip below the height where the hit the ball. This tee REALLY exaggerates swinging down onto the ball, and I wish it was more adjustable to prevent “golfing” but still allow a slightly upward arc at contact. It can actually be adjusted slightly upward by loosening the bristle tee and putting washers under it. My plan is to buy a longer screw and put a stack of washers under it to still prevent “golf” swings, but allow for a more level swing. A $1 optional modification that will be very easy to install. Highly highly recommended.

LOVE it! We had to put a little electrical tape round the inner pole to keep it from sliding down, but it works great now. Stays put, and has held up to the abuse of my home day care, and my 6 year old's baseball team! Even my two year old can hit off this tee with a foam bat. We spray painted little foot marks on the grass, and then adjust the tee so the kids are always the correct distance from the tee when hitting.

My son has been hitting on the tee for over a year. Thousands of swings on this thing. Things I like: adjustability, tee structure durability- no cracks, warping, etc, instant feedback for uppercuts and casting. Things I dislike: gone through 2 brushes in 1 year, post drops often when tee contact is made with the bat, kinda pricey. At the training facility that I take my son to, they have a few as well. Most of the hitting coaches are indifferent to them compared to standard tees.

Solid design! Makes the player swing level and lets you know if you are not inside the ball (prevents canter). Really no other Tee like it. Solid design. Used it over a year. I bought it after I saw it used by local university team and wish I would have knew about this Tee years ago. Only slight draw back is it is a little heavy when taking to the field with you, but it has to be to work correctly. Simply the best Tee I've seen or used. You won't be disappointed.
