100% Chemical Free Hair Dye, Black, 100 Gram

this product is amazing!!!! I thought I was never going to be able to color my hair black again because I’m allergic to ppd… I’ve had extremely bad allergic reactions and have been to ER several times. Until I found out about henna, I did a patch test before just to be safe, a day went by and everything seemed normal so I went ahead and dyed my hair, MY HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER, no allergic reaction🥹🙏🏻 I added salt to it and left it in for 3 hours. I couldn’t be happier with the results #henna4life. It does have a smell almost like tumeric.. the smell lingers after first wash. EDIT: it’s been 2 days and my ears and face are itching really bad it hurts to scratch cuz it burns, no redness or blistering or scabs of any short but just very intense itchyness, it hurts almost. :edit, okay I showered and the itchyness went away maybe I didn’t fully wash it off?

This product worked ok. To begin with, I have thick, light brown hair that extends to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I have used this product twice now because I heard that the color intensifies with multiple dyes.In any case, I mixed the product according to the instructions and began to apply. It was very, very messy so make sure you have towels everywhere and are in the bathroom. It was very hard to work the product through my hair - my hair would stick together in clumps which made it difficult to apply evenly. It took me about an hour and a half and both packets to completely cover my hair. I then wrapped my hair in saran wrap (the included shower cap was WAY too small to cover my hair) and waited for a few more hours (I figured more is better since it says a minimum of 2 hours is recommended).At the end of this time, I attempted to rinse and wash my hair. I believe the instructions only say to use conditioner but my hair was so stuck together with the hardened mix at this point that I had to scrub for a long time to get it all out.As a point of clarification, my hair has been dyed several times in the past. Here are the results: At the bottom, my hair had been previously bleached - this turned a dark, dark green (I thought this was a neat result, but definitely not what most people would be after, so word of caution to those with bleached hair). In the middle, it had been previously dyed red - this turned dark brown. Above that, my hair had previously been hennaed - this turned a medium-dark brown. Above that was a few inches of natural color (light brown) - this turned a medium brown. Due to the difficulty I had in applying this product evenly, there were occasional pieces of undyed hair but since my hair was already a hodge-podge of shades, this was not terribly noticeable.The color faded over the next month and I then tried again. The results were almost identical to the first time. I decided that due to the difficulty in application, the amount of time it takes to apply and to see results, as well as the less-than-ideal dying power of the product (light brown hair transforms to medium brown - not anywhere near black), that would be my final try to this particular product. I love the idea of using natural dye, but I used this because I thought it would be much easier and less time-consuming than henna followed by indigo. At this point, I am not sure that's true and the results were less than ideal.[Side note on the smell: it did not bother me but even with thorough washing, it lingered for three or four days. The smell is very grassy - not a problem for me, but might be for some people as it is fairly strong.]

I feel badly for everyone that doesn't have a great experience with this product. Yes, the smell is strong and earthy, but tapers off after a week or two. I add about a tablespoon of salt and mix with warm water. My shoulder-length, not-thick hair only requires one packet. I have Asian hair which had dk brown tones to begin with. I apply before bed (takes about 60-80 minutes(I shower and dry my hair first) - wear a junky shirt and move any rugs because it drips), then put on the shower cap and an extra wrap of saran at the edges to seal as well as possible, then use a small electric heating pad (used to use it for my cats) and put a wool cap over that (warmth helps to set the dye). A couple layers of towels on my pillows, and I leave it overnight, shower with conditioner only in the morning. The coverage is never 100%, though it increases as my technique improves. I love that it leaves little bits of grey, as well as some reddish tone; it's different and very natural looking. It definitely does an excellent job of covering the majority of grey/white, of which I have probably 10%. Not sure how it will work when the white takes over, but it seems like it will be easier to transition to no dye by that time. For now, I am extremely satisfied that I am not using harsh chemicals and killing the environment, and it's cheap!

It is an excellent product..It proved beyond my expectations.I don't hasitate to recommend anyone looking for a non chemical permanant herbal dye.I am equally satisfied with the customer's service of the Amazon.ca and it's quick delivery service.

The product has no side effects being natural, but the longevity after appication is too short and texture of the hair is not that appealing. However it can be recommended as its now more than a year ive started using this and am ceased with the itching and skin problem i had using a synthetic / h2o2/ammonia hair dye.

Third classTurned hair into green colour. Dont buy

I had to use it at least twice to get some dark color on my hair, it does not cover my grey hair as instantly as the chemical ones.I hope the black color will stay on my hair as I use it more and more often.

This product is 100% not good because after we apply to hair it's not getting black looks green color. We follow the instruction according to the box. I lost my money if you don't believe open one packet and try.
