Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, 2 Black Hair Color, Pack of 2

I got my hair dyed at a salon in January and I've been noticing gray roots again recently.I decided to give this product a try tonight and I'm glad I did. It was very easy to apply, matches the salon color, and covered the grays! I will definitely continue to use this root touch up between salon visits.

For me, the black.shade last longer than brown shade. Easy to use, enough for short hair. Took 15 mins total. Easy to wash.

I have been using this Clairol root touch up kit for the past few years, and fell in love as soon as I tried it for the first time. I have naturally very dark hair, but the sun brings out some highlights and a reddish tone of my roots. Because of this, I use this root touchup so that my hair blends perfectly. The instructions are incredibly easy, they give you everything needed, and it works wonders! The only downside for me in particular is the fact that I have extremely thick and long, naturally curly hair. Because of the volume of hair I have, this root touchup kit is a very small amount and I have to be careful and salvage every bit. Realistically, two or three times this size kit would be ideal. (Keeping in mind that this is not full coverage, just your roots.) If I could recommend one thing, it would be to at least double the quantity in this kit. (Especially for close to $8 per kit, where you can buy a full hair dye kit at that same price. And I mean real hair dye and developer, not the boxed stuff!) But overall, I would highly recommend this product, as it is so easy to use. The one suggestion I have is to leave the dye on a little longer than stated. I typically leave mine on for 40 minutes. With this, I put Vaseline all around the border of my hairline, back of my ears, and neck. This will greatly help you alleviate getting dye on your skin which takes forever to come off. If you do happen to get dye on your face or hands, etc. try to wipe it off as soon as possible with rubbing alcohol, as that is the only substance that will do the trick! With this, make sure you wear the included gloves while applying, to avoid dye staining your hands and nails in particular. I hope that helps!

This product is so easy to use. The box comes with instructions and everything you need, including gloves! Just squeeze the 2 products together into the plastic bowl and mix. The brush applicator makes it easy to work the color creme into your roots and around your temples. My grays are stubborn, so I leave the color in for 15+ minutes, and all my roots come out looking beautiful, black and so shiny after I wash and dry my hair. For those wondering, the color does come out in the tub when you're washing the color off, but it's easy to rinse away. I lay trash bags over my bathroom sink and counter while I'm coloring to protect from accidental drips, but it's almost not necessary because the product clings really well to the brush, so there's no splattering. This is the first at-home hair coloring product that has worked for me. I have tried one or two other products before that didn't cover my grays. This coverage is excellent! Since I have to touch up my roots every 5-6 weeks, now instead of going to the salon and spending $70-$90, I only spend $7, and with the savings, I can pamper myself with salon highlights, a professional cut or a mani-pedi! I use this twice a month. It's so easy to use and takes less than 20 minutes. Gets rid of my gray hair from the root area. Last me 2-3 Weeks.

This was very easy to apply, pretty quick, didn’t give me a headache and lasted a little longer than others. Will order this again.

I like this cos it’s effective and the least hassle when doing touch ups on the roots. I have tried the blue black before, natural black and the brown ones as well. I have dark/ black hair and so I realised if I do medium or lighter browns, the dye would not cover my grey roots as much so it’s more effective to go darker. Unless if my hair is highlighted or dyed a lighter color before, then medium browns are the best to make the grays look more natural as they lightened over hairwashes. Black hair just make the grays stand out more.

Quick and easy to use. Does the job perfectly

Great coverage for white hairs, the best thing about this product is that it stays on the hair so you only do the retouch on the newly grown hair, you don't need to do the whole length like with other products that fade in a couple of weeks. The black matches my hair perfectly so I only do the white hair patches and sometimes only use half of the product for one quick touch up, I love it, it's the only one that stays forever and doesn't transfer on your hands and clothes.
