With 2 kids sharing a bedroom it's not easy to please both. One wants light at night and it bothers the other one. This LED light is perfect as it has 2 brightness settings to choose from (the 50% setting is bright enough, perhaps a bit too bright for my comfort) and it doesn't get warm so we can ever put items right near it or even touching it without worrying about it getting hot. So far I'm enjoying it as the kids are behaving and enjoy holding the light. Very cute and practice and we use the plug so don't know how battery life would be, although using LED I'd imagine would last a while.

I purchased this about a month ago....so far it has met every expectation I had. I love that it has a plug with it. You can add batteries if you do not want to plug it in. I personally just leave it plugged in. Before I purchased this I was concerned of the light brightness....I was not disappointed.... There are two light settings. Full light or half light. I typically use the full light in my child’s room. My husband does the half light. Each one gives adequate lighting. It is very light weight, small, and cute. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

My 6 yr old has all of a sudden become scared of the dark and wants to sleep with the light on. Problem is I share a room with her and I can not sleep with lights on. A little regular night light just wasn't bright enough for her. So I started searching and I came across this adorable little light. I was concerned at first after reading some of the reviews about it being too bright but I guess they have updated it and it does now have full and 50% power. But even at full power it is not too bright that I can't sleep. It is a soft light but still lights up the room so that she can see. It is a little bit smaller than I expected but that is my fault for not looking at the measurements. Anyway, it is the cutest thing, works perfectly for our situation and I can say you won't be disappointed if you buy. Love it and would buy again.

I purchased one of these for each of my three children to leave on their nightstands at night. We found that the plug in nightlights weren't bright enough and leaving the table lamp on was too bright. These are the perfect brightness at 100% and they also offer a 50% option as well which doesn't really change the brightness output that drastically. There is a dc power input on the back of the cloud with an included usb power cord. We have a ton of leftover usb plug adaptors from random electronics and used one of those to plug the cloud night light into the wall. There is a battery option as well, however we plan to leave these on for most of the night and would rather draw power from the outlet rather than swapping out batteries constantly. The plug on the back is not concealed at all and the power cord sticks out quite a bit. All in all, this is getting the job done by giving each of our children their own personal night light and they enjoy the cute and friendly cloud face.

I foster special needs animals and often use my laundry room as an "over flow" foster space. I quickly realized that I really needed a night light in there and this one filled the bill. Being battery operated (it also has a USB power option) was perfect for the space. There are 2 light level options: the lowest level worked well for me but in a larger space I think the higher level would be great. I worried that this would run through batteries quickly but it's been used many times, for 10-12 hours at a time and it's still plenty bright with it's first set of batteries. Definitely recommend this night light

My 2 year old kept playing with and losing his night light we had in his room. It was plugged in like a normal night light so I was always nervous about him messing with it and possibly getting shocked. Finally he lost it for good and we scrambled to find him something new because he was now waking up in the middle of the night and getting scared because he was in total darkness. I knew I didn't want another light he would play with and lose and then I found this! This light is awesome! It solved the outlet issue. It also solved an issue I keep finding with almost all night lights - the timer. 30 minutes is enough to fall asleep, sure, but now if he wakes up in the middle of the night this little cloud is still glowing and he goes right back to sleep. We've been using it for about a week at the 50% setting and the batteries are still hanging in there. Its definitely dimmer as the batteries fade, so I would recommend buying rechargeable batteries for this.

This nightlight is cute and my son loved it. The usb cable is short so if you want to use batteries, you should also know that it doesn’t turn itself off at all. When my son turned it on, it would still be on in the morning and needed charging every 4-6 days. After two months, the switch broke. So overall, unless your child doesn’t touch it and it stays plugged in and you don’t need to turn it off and on with the switch - I wouldn’t recommend it.
