Really enjoying knitting with these.
Product Review: Premium Collection 60 Inch Circular StitchBerry® Brand Bamboo Knitting Needles (15 Sizes).I just received these from Amazon. They are not prime eligible. I ordered them on 12/24/15 and received them on 1/2/15, which I think is acceptable for standard shipping.Amazon Price: $14.95 + $3.90 shippingThe price seemed too good to be true, so I wasn't sure if I was going to like these, but I figured that they would be good enough for knitting emergencies. (Oh, knitting emergencies happen!) Also, if they are any good at all, they will be an inexpensive investment for me to recommend to beginning knitters. IF.When I open the Amazon padded envelope, I see that they are in a snap closure plastic pouch. This is at least some kind of storage. Other "cheap" needle sets I have purchase haven't had any storage container, so this is a plus. Also, each individual circular needle is in its own resealable sleeve.I was hoping for very flexible cables. What I saw were tubes. This instantly concerned me. The first one I removed from the package was a size 10 as I am currently working on a project using size 10 and I wanted to try them. The tubing is rather thick but it feels flexible AND sturdy. This intrigues me. I start working the stitches on my current project. The points are not as sharp as my ChaioGoo's that I was working with, but they are acceptable. I am not splitting the yarn. Then the return row....WOW! Now I am impressed. The tubing makes for a very smooth join, meaning no snags. Plus, the tubing that I initially thought was rather thick is maintaining the size of my stitches, so I am not getting that little bit of snugness that you can get at the join when my stitches transition from a very fine cable to the size 10 needle. At this point, I examined some of the smaller sizes of needles and find that the tubing is actually gauged to the size of the needles. I believe that this is going to be a feature that I will enjoy with the smaller sizes of needles too. Now, some of you may be put off by the length of the cable on these needles, 60 inches. Don't be. I see that Stitchberry brand sells sets with shorter lengths of cables. I chose the 60" length because instead of getting several different lengths or using interchangeables, I just buy the longest ones I can and don't let the extra cable bother me. I magic loop, or just let extra cable dangle out there. I don't want to invest a lot extra or store even more needles. At this very low price point, you may be able to afford to purchase every length. It is all up to you.I guess it is obvious that my initial feelings about these needles is that they are definitely worth the price. I would even hazard to say that some premium needle manufacturers should consider some modifications based on these cables. Now, I feel this way after just an hour with the needles. I cannot attest to durability. Perhaps the tubes will pull off or the bamboo needles with break on the smaller sizes. Only time will tell. Oh, and I will tell. I promise, I will tell.UPDATE: I have been using these needles for several projects now. I still think it is a good value, but not loving the smaller sized needles. I think the larger sizes are great! The smaller sizes with the corresponding thinner cables are not as sturdy. I have not had any break, but the cable will kink up causing some wasted time. For the super low price, I would still purchase these just for the U.S. size 8-15.

I have sets in 16”, 24”, 40”, and 60” lengths
Each needle set is marked both in mm and standard # marks. (I’ve seen some people complain about having to keep a chart handy because they weren’t marked with the standard sizing. They are now)The coil free cable is just that. Coil free. I did have a slight problem with a kink at the end of one needle on the 60” cable, but then I was knitting a thick yarn on a smaller needle to make a denser fabric. Once I’d knitted enough rows that the fabric stopped twisting the cable sprang back to normal and behaved itself.Packaging: Each individual set is placed in a labeled bag, then bags of the same cable lengths are placed in a reusable snap closure bag with the cable length marked. The individual bags are a sticky closure temporary thing, but they should last for a couple of months at least. The larger bag that holds the entire set was a big surprise and one I was glad for. With so many needles I was dreading having to sew so many needle cases. Now I won’t have to rush to do that. The bag won’t last forever but it’s sturdy enough to do it’s job for some time.I haven’t used the tiny sized needles yet, so I can’t attest to their strength, but at least the size 4” and up are strong and sturdy. I took the advice of another reviewer and conditioned the wood before using them. I used the same wood wax that I used on my spinning wheel. It made the needles feel wonderful and the ones I’ve used so far have not threatened to crack or splinter.I've made several projects so far and have not had any trouble with cables coming off. I am careful with trying not to pull where they are attached though.SPECIFICALLY 60" LENGTH: This is a great size for large afghans.

Great Value = High Quality Product + Good Price
This set of circular knitting needles was a great value! Not only was it a good price, but the product is of high quality. My biggest concerns are addressed below:1. The plastic tubing stays firmly attached to the needles even when working with a bulky weight yarn.2. The needles themselves are strong, and even the smallest sizes haven't broken while I was working with them.3. Made of bamboo, the needles fit comfortably in your hands and work well without snagging on various types yarns.4. The tubing is 60 inches, which is amazing for big projects like blankets or sweaters; however, if you are looking to make mostly scarves, gloves, hats, or other smaller projects, the excess tubing can get in the way.

There are other more pretty 60" knitting needles
I want to knit socks using the Magic Loop method. In order to do this I must have a very long circular knitting needle. So I bought this set. This way I'll have every size for this method and for knitting very wide afghans. There are other more pretty 60" knitting needles, but they were sold individually and cost too much to have one of every size. I have used StitchBerry knitting needle sets before and am happy with this one, too.

Lightweight and smooth
These circular knitting needles are smooth and easy to use. I am currently using the size 15 to do a double stranded basketweave stitch blanket. I am having no problems with the yarn catching on the joins. These needles are lightweight and did not have any odors. I do occasionally have an issue with a kink in the tubing, so I will soak it after I am done with this blanket.

Great Deal, great product!
Oh my goodness, this is the best deal ever for 60 inch needles. I make a lot of shawls and this is perfect for getting an idea for how long and wide it's going to be. The plastic is soft and flexible. I really love them!!!!

a mess.
I ordered two sets of these. The first package came well wrapped and neat, but it was missing one size in the needles. The second set came as a wreck. The needles weren't in the plastic case, the plastic case was all scrunched up, and 4 needle sizes are missing. Disappointed. The knitting needles are good in and of themselves, but I guess you pay what you get for.
