FAIRWINTactical Belt, Military Utility Belt Nylon Web Rigger Belt Work Belt with Heavy-Duty Quick-Release Buckle

Unlike the prior belt I had purchased from the same company just a month prior in a different color this one had a different buckle design that is less precise. If you are like me, and actually use the belt to secure your pants from falling off, this buckle is problematic with improper locking and failure to unlock. This occurs because the belt is not used as a decoration with little to no tension, I use the belt under a fair amount of tension and this means I have to align the buckle precisely to close and have both upper and lower clips engage. When opening the belt it is a two handed process because if the tension has any pressure up or down then one latch will fail to disengage even with both pressed at the same time. This requires the buckle to be forced close then held in both hands to unlock. This all comes from the lack of precision in the spacing allowing movement to bind the locking clips both top and bottom.

This is the second unit that I've bought of this belt in the last few years, and not because the first one wore out. I just wanted a second belt. They've made some adjustments to the buckle design but overall it's a good unit. The design updates are a welcome surprise, which shows they really care about their product and improving it over barely passable. The fabric is perfectly stiff to reduce curling over in the 5-loop jeans they make these days. They also resist slipping up the back of your pants due to how stiff the belt is. The elastic loop has seen some improvement but still is the weak point of the design. It's not a deal breaker by any means though. I don't think I'll ever buy a leather belt again. Definitely recommend.

This belt is great EXCEPT that the buckles don’t fit thru normal belt loops - you have to take off the buckle first. If this doesn’t bother you you can’t beat this belt. This belt would also be fine wearing outside of the belt loops.

I think this is a great product for the price, though it has some downsides. Adjusting the length of the belt is a bit of a pain, and if you're on the heavier side then it can be a bit uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time as it tends to press and rub into the belly. I've found that wearing a tucked in undershirt makes that issue go away. Also, fitting the buckles through belt loops is a bit of a nuisance.That being said, while carrying a Bersa Thunder 380 Plus (roughly 24 ounces loaded) I haven't had any issues with sturdiness or sagging, which is the main point of the belt. Would certainly recommend.

I intentionally ordered this version of the belt since it's stiffer and more durable. I planned on maybe hanging my impact driver and drill on my own belt, rather than having to grab an entire tool belt and for that it works brilliantly!! I love how once you get it set, this belt is the easiest and quickest to release. Not like there's a race for pulling down your pants, but when you get this, you'll notice this feature and wonder why you've been slumming it with a low-tech punch-a-hole type belt. The one and only complaint about this belt......is the width of the buckle. Although I read reviews that had the same complaint, and the description clearly states the size....I ordered it anyway. Threading the buckle through normal men's loops takes forever, so when you switch it out every day it's a hassle. That's the ONLY reason for 4 stars.

This belt is amazing. I am a corrections officer and this belt works great. I love that it has no stretch so when you stand up its as tight as it was!

Bought this tactical belt for an aspiring EMT. They loved it and have used it ever since.

I purchased this belt 1/11/2019 it’s now October 22 and I’ve used this belt exclusively 7 days a week. I wore it 6 days a week as a UPS driver carrying a heavy Diad & various Apple pro max phones with heavy Otterbox cases. It always worked, never once stretched as leather belts do. It has been completely drenched in sweat from the SC heat, pulled yanked, keys hanging from it plus I’ve run it through a washing machine at least a few times. After almost 4 years the springs are finally giving way allowing the belt to disconnect. I’m very happy with the length of time this belt lasted, never has a belt lasted me through so much use & abuse that comes with a delivery driver. I am buying another today $16.00 is well worth the price considering the leather alternatives. Very happy customer here!
