I needed to connect my new USB C devices to my old computer and this handy little converter works extremely well, covering all bases, from charging my Samsung S9 to my new headset and my latest USB 3.1 storage device. It all works great as does exactly what it says on the packet. I particularly bought this device for my headset as some of these devices do not claim to do audio and are just for charging. I have since bought more of this device and I would recommend it, they are great value and so far I have not had any issues or cause for complaint.

bought this to convert my usb c wires to USB for my Samsung monitor, works very well quality is better than expected. really like the size and use it with my Samsung phone also to charge and does the job excellent, fast to charge. Use it also with my surface book with does not have any USB ports and now it does! delivery was super fast and packaged well. easy to travel around with so this will be in my computer bag wherever I travel.

Just upgraded my android phone and the newer ones now come with USB C connections at both ends meaning I needed to buy the adaptor for myself and my wife as we're selling the old ones with all the cables. Seems to be sturdy enough for the price and certainly works fine. Only issue I had was the listing did say it was a twin pack but that was an error on the sellers part as only one arrived. However the seller did admit the error when I contacted them and provided a discount code to allow me to order the second one for 5p

My immediate impression on opening the Nimaso USB to USB C's carton was the premium look and feel of the adapter. Instead of cheap plastic the adapter was made from black coloured alumium with a nice chrome edge either end. Inside the USB is a blue insert making it easier to see where to insert into a device or computer. The adapter felt a little weighty, giving the impression of quality. It performed excellently and was keenly priced at just over a fiver. It arrived within a couple of days of ordering.

I took a bit of a punt on this as I have a new Jabra headset with a USB-C bluetooth dongle which I also needed to connect to an older laptop with only USB-A. The adapter looks well made and I had no problem getting the bluetooth dongle recognised and working fine on the older laptop. It did exactly what I hoped it may be able to achieve and so is recommended. I have not tested any other aspects of the what the adapter is designed to do - such as testing the performance of the data transfer from an USB-C memory stick or external drive.

Excellent product. Supports fast charging where applicable and allows for high data transfer speeds. Tldr; power the adapter BEFORE connecting your Galaxy to prevent a tedious and obnoxious notification glitch WARNING FOR MODERN SAMSUNG GALAXY USERS BELOW: If you connect your Samsung Galaxy to this adapter without any power going through the adapter's male USB connector, it will cause a bug where your notification bar will constantly refresh with the message "USB connector connected/disconnected". This will make your phone constantly update you with an un-removable notification that prevents the screen from turning off, and prevents the use of your top-down buttons (without her notifications present). This bug should go away by itself a few minutes after disconnecting. If you wish to avoid this bug, I suggest making sure that the adapter is getting powered BEFORE you connect your phone to it. I've never seen such an issue before on any other adapter, which means that the bug is cause by this and similar adapters. This is why I'm lowering my review score. Were this bug not present, it would be an easy 5 star review.

Bought this so I could transfer files easily from my Samsung S20+ to PC with standard USB ports and to be able to charge it in the car (new pohone only has USB-C to USB-C cable. No comment to make on it really, works seamlessly - nice robust fit of cable into adapter and it's pretty compact. Hard to comment on charging capability as it is never fast to charge in the car anyway - running with Google satnav it really just holds the same charge, doesn't charge much at all. So, would have no compunction about recommending - I bought two in case I lost one..

Cercavo un adattatore capace d’interfacciare una spina type C su una porta USB3.0, per quanto possibile di piccole dimensioni e con l’unica pretesa di un trasferimento dati impeccabile, dato che il mio impiego tipo, prevede l’acquisizione video in alta risoluzione a 60fps. Ebbene con questo Nimaso sono stato accontentato, dal momento che: _Misura solamente 38mm per 13mm, con uno spessore di appena sei millimetri; _Ha innesti belli saldi, cosa molto apprezzata dal sottoscritto, visto che sottopongo il cavo a lui collegato a ripetuti spostamenti; _Non ha mai mostrato problemi di stabilità o interferenze sulle registrazioni (evidenzio che la traccia è una cosa prolungata nel tempo e perdona veramente poco); _Infine, con mia somma sorpresa, porta con sé una struttura particolarmente solida e resistente alle sollecitudini, ricavata principalmente dall’utilizzo dell’alluminio. Altre note? Beh segnalo una spedizione di primordine, con un packaging decisamente all’altezza (confezione in cartone con all’interno un guscio in sospensione di plastica trasparente); la gestione del traffico mediante il chip VL160, assai funzionale nel caso del bidirezionale, come il resistore da 56k Ohm qualora si sfrutti la funzione per la ricarica rapida degli smartphone (a scanso di equivoci puntualizzo nuovamente non essere la mia situazione e che, nel caso sia il motivo principale del vostro ordine, bisogna tener conto pure del cavo, come del trasformatore e dello stesso cellulare). Conclusioni? Per l’incarico assegnatogli è promosso in tutti gli aspetti, inoltre, ha un rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente ragionevole viste le varie offerte di mercato (7,49euro). Consigliato!

Ik heb deze adapter gekocht omdat hier een review stond dat hij zou werken met de Logitech Streamcam. Nu heb ik wel 1 usb C port in mijn computer, maar leek het mij toch fijn om hem op usb te kunnen aansluiten. Dan kan ik hem aansluiten op mijn usb switch. Dan kan ik hem ook voor mijn werk gebruiken. Hij werkt inderdaad met de Streamcam! Ik krijg 60 fps als je hem op usb 3.0 aansluit. Als de 60 frames niet verschijnen even je de usb C port andersom er in doen. Dat werkte bij mij.

Da mein gutes, altes MacBook-Pro von 2014 von keinen USB-C-Anschluss bietet, habe ich mir diesen Adapter von Nimaso gegönnt. Der Adapter ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und passt perfekt. Sowohl im USB-3.0-Port meines MacBooks, als auch an der USB-C-Schnittstelle. Nichts wackelt, nichts ruckelt, nichts zuckelt. Super. So stelle ich mir das bei einem wertigen Adapter vor, der übrigens ein metallisches Gehäuse hat. Zur Überprüfung der Datentransferrate habe ich übrigens einen kleinen Test gemacht (siehe 3. Bild): Ich habe den Adapter in einen freien USB-Port gesteckt, einen weiteren Adapter (ebenfalls von Nimaso) dran und schließlich eine externe SSD-Platte angeschlossen. Die Datentransferraten waren exakt die selben, wie wenn ich die SSD-Platte direkt an einen USB 3.0-Port anstecke. Trotz zweier Adapter gibt es also keinerlei Geschwindigkeitseinbußen. Das finde ich perfekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung und natürlich 5 Sterne!

Super adaptateur !! Je m'en sers sur mon pc professionnel car il n'est pas équipé de port usb-c et comme j'ai une station d'accueil qui n'a que ce connecteur, pas le choix. Quoi qu'il en soit, je suis très satisfait, car je n'ai constaté aucun ralentissement dans mes transferts de fichiers et l'affichage sur mon écran en passant par cet adaptateur. Je n'ai pas fait de test pour un usage en alimentation électrique car je n'en ai pas besoin... Un ressenti de qualité dès l'emballage : se présente dans une petite boîte en carton sous plastique sans prétention mais que j'ai appréciée. L'adaptateur en lui même est tout en métal, et a une finition réellement impeccable ! Je n'ai pas démonté pour voir dedans, mais d'après les photos sur la fiche produit c'est un composant actif, mais je ne suis pas suffisamment calé pour savoir ce que cela change concrètement. Pas l'ombre d'un point noir pour le moment.
