High Quality Door- Packaged Very Well!
Has been a nightmare trying to find a door to fit the kitchen to the basement! This worked great and can be removed if need be. It was packaged very well and hinges were pre-installed but I changed the hinges out for a different set using the Johnson Hardware Track system. It took my stain nicely, although I may need to do another coat I installed it anyway by myself which was not easy but I was determined. This door replaced a cheap plastic folding door that never held up. This should be durable for years to come. I installed a cabinet handle versus a knob because those knobs just aren't sturdy enough. This is a 30 x 80 x 1" think. Double check the thickness you need before ordering or you might have issues. Most are 1-3/8" think. Very happy. Highly recommend! Watch videos before you install. They are so helpful. I'm 63 and did this myself.

Needs an experienced installer, needs to be sanded.
I was looking for ready to stain doors and thought I had found them. You really need to sand these down or the glue will show through as it won't allow the stain to penetrate. So bummer on that. They are also difficult to install but we did it and I am very happy with the look. They are solid and look like nice furniture.

I am happy. Read the instructions carefully. Plan and measure twice or more...
I am happy with these doors. Plan on sanding and finishing before installing. Be sure to read the instructions and layout the parts on the floor and determine which of the door guides and pegs goes into which corner first. Two pegs (one top and one bottom on the wall hinge side) make the door pivot hinge. One peg goes into the top guide plastic slider on the opposite side from the pivots. Stand the door up into the opening before doing anything. Measure and work out the exact height of the door in the opening including any bottom door thresholds. I needed to add a 2" x 4" filler across my opening on top (1` 1/2 nominal) and then after notching my bottom threshold piece for the bottom peg bracket 1/8" the door fit perfectly. Spend time to get it right. There is really only a slight chance to adjust the pivots by a small amount vertically. Once installed the first time, I dont think there is much chance of taking the door out to adjust things without damaging the pivots slightly. The top guide is installed with the bent end on the side of the pivots and guide braket. You will see the guide channel rails are bent in on one end to hold the pivot peg tightly. Once again be sure you have it right there is not much room for adjustment after the door is in. Now after installing the top guide you can check the height one more time. There is really no room for adjustment other than the top filler. Make sure you understand where everything goes and how it works before installing the doors in place. After everything has been finished and hardware installed you can install the door. Put the pivot peg side into the top guide bracket first, then the top peg into the guide on the other side. Finally slide the bottom pivot into the bracket. Make sure this bottom peg is screwed all the way into its sleeve when inserting the door. Then you can unscrew it to adjust the height somewhat. Luckily mine fit tight with the bottom peg insert screwed all the way in. I used a chisel slid under the door in the crack and managed to pry up and lifted the door so the peg insert went tightly into the bottom bracket. Finally, I leveled and centered best I could by pounding the bottom peg insert slightly over. Lucky with a proper wack the insert slid over a bit and now the door hung perfectly level, straight and opens smoothly. There is also an adjustment bracket and set screw on the top guide to move the door slightly left and right. Again there is little room for error here. Lucky mine did not need much adjustment. I added a piece of corner round down the door frame on the opening side for a door stop and to cover the 1/2" gap I had left in the width of the door opening. I could not get a filler piece to sit properly on the other side to fill that gap so I just left it. It was a two day project for me myself and I. I have good skills and it was a bit of a challenge as are most things. Overall I am very happy. I gave it 5 stars since although the door hardware is not perfect there is not a 4.5 stars. :) Tom

Cheap door
Very soft wood and easily dented. Does not take stain well

The hardware could be better but as long as you're gentle with it you should be fine.
I loved the way the door looked, then I took it down and painted it white and I also changed the wooden knob to a matching white porcelain knob. Overall, I am very happy with the door, it is solid wood and I needed to trim it to fit my space. So far, the door held up to me taking it apart, painting it, and putting it back up with no problems. You have to be gentle with the included track because it is a little flimsy but for me it worth the money. After having one up for a few weeks I went out and bought a second door. I have two dogs that scratch them and push them open daily and so far these doors have been great. Would definitely buy this door again.

Panels separate after a few months of constant use.
Loved this door when i first got it. The wood is pretty. It was a little challenging to hang up and get in track but once it is i works well. Unfortunately, Eventually the panels start to separate after a few months of constant, everyday use. They aren’t held together by anything (glue or screws). I would suggest to put a small screw on the outside frame going into each panel to hold together or separate and and some wood glue to hold together.

Pantry doors
This door was perfectly packaged and protected at its corners and edges very nicely. It’s actually quite beautiful and will complete a pantry project. This door arrived in a few days! I’m very pleased! I’ll not make it Louvered but hinged with refurbished antique hardware.
