L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Sulfate Free Thickening Conditioner, Rosemary 8.5 Fluid Ounce

Girrrrrrrrrrrlllll. If walk the streets and feel raging green envy for girls with thick horse mane hair, well that's genetics can't help you much there. BUT, if you just want a little more oomph in your fine, thin, straight hair this is the product for us. Light, refreshing eucalyptus smell with thick creamy texture, it makes conditioning feel like a mini-hair mask. The trick is to wash your hair with shampoo every other day and condition every day. This conditioner was formulated to be used on your scalp for a tingly feel! Love it.

The product itself is fine but there seems to be a defect in the bottles - the lids to not close properly. I purchased one of these at a department store in the midwest while traveling a few months ago and then this one I ordered off of Amazon more recently and BOTH caps will not not close once opened. I have to keep it propped upside down at all times so that the contents do not leak out but this is pretty inconvenient considering the bottle is not designed to sit in that position. It is obviously a problem with the manufacturer and not the seller but I'm reluctant to purchase this again if the manufacturer doesn't address the issue.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, aka SLS aka "Sulfates" aka Sulfuric acid are bad for your skin, often causing small sores. However, they do make a wonderful lather- which doesnt actually do anything but make you think it's working. I have thinning hair (or "It done thinned") and I try not to use sulfate, so when I saw this I had to try it (this is my second purchase). This stuff makes my scalp all tingly and gets it nicely clean. It also seems to have a thickening effect. But what's nice is the Wonderful fresh feeling I get after using this and the associated shampoo. Nice scent too, kinda medicinal and fresh.

Sincerely, I cannot picture life without this stuff. Little about me, been battling an incurable disease which happens to not allow me to absorb vitamins. Was put on chemo and lost a lot of hair... I mean a lot! My hair was so thin and brittle. After having a very bad reaction, I was taken off chemo and all I wanted to do was reclaim my hair. I went for a day to be pampered at hair salon after they assured me chemo had no affect on treatments and the girl over processed what little hair I had left AND cut off about 4 inches. I was bawling my eyes out. Terrible!!! Anyway, I wanted to go chem free and cut out dead stuff and keep my hair virgin. I am about 4 inches away from all virgin hair and this stuff is to blame!!! My hair grew back so fast and it came in so healthy. I do not use anything with alcohol and I get a trim every month. To date, I can wash my hair with just the shampoo... conditioner is not even needed but I use anyway. It is a MUST buy!! Chemo and over processed/ burnt hair was no match for this stuff. It is the BEST and smells wonderful!!!

I have been using the L'Oreal sulfate free line for a while now. This is the first time I am using their thickening conditioner. The conditioners work well enough compared to other SLS free lines. The smell is a little strong when you apply the conditioner but fades after rinsing. For most folks I am sure it is just fine. I don't know that it thickens my hair but it works and my hair feels clean and soft after using the product. The packaging could use a bit of toughening up. I have had one loose the ink and another split on the side seam. Now I just travel with the tubes in their own bag so I don't have any misshapes. All in all a good reliable product found at a good price for those of us who can't use sulfates.

Smells great, but does nothing to thicken or strengthen hair. I purchased this based on a magazine recommendation for people with fine, easily broken hair. This product made no difference and I used the whole system.

Very good shampoo. I buy in different variations just for a fun. We all need it, right? Smells very well and lives the hair soft. I always buy the shampoo and the conditioner together. Works great for me.

I have very thin and very fine hair. This conditioner, as most conditioners do, made my hair even softer, slicker, and less manageable than it would be without conditioner. I could not see any thickening effect for that matter . I tried using less than recommended, but the effect was still too softening for my already limp hair. Might work for other hair types, but I do not recommend it for problem fine hair. I used the L'Oreal thickening shampoo with the L'Oreal thickening conditioner and thickening tonic. None of the three products worked for me, either together or separately.
