UPDATE: the black PLA is quite good. the white is still just ok.
UPDATE: Amazon does not let me do a separate review for the black PLA, so I am updating this one. I like the black PLA a lot. The surface finish can be a smooth matte black at lower temperatures or glossy at higher. It does have a tendency to warp on smooth steel along with textured PEI, I have to use gluestick and turn the print fan down. But that totally depends on your print surface and other factors, I cannot say for sure if that is a universal issue with Overture Black PLA. Overall I would give the black PLA a 4.5 out of 5 and the white PLA a 4 out of 5. It is some of the better PLA I've used. --- Older review for the white PLA --- These spools claim a consistent diameter of 1.75 give or take 0.05. Most spools I buy claim the same however I have not once actually /seen/ this amount of variance when measuring the diameter. Most spools seem to measure lows and highs of 1.73 - 1.76. Within a one foot stretch of this filament I can see 1.70 to 1.8mm depending on where I measure. That is within the product's described tolerance so I cannot fault it for that. But I cannot wonder if it is the cause of the slight variance in printed layers that is visible when under direct light. Printed 210/72 Prusa MK3S with full Bear Upgrade, textured PEI sheet. Pictures are after some basic extrusion multiplier adjustment and LA calibration @ .2mm layer height. Like any filament purchase there are far too many variables to judge quality off of the finished print. Not to mention differences in color and batch. I have had small difficulties with adhesion but again that could just be me. I have not yet tried the black roll that I ordered. So to summarize, if you see it and it's cheap and you aren't nutty about quality or consistency, it's fine. However it is not my favorite. It is OK and gets the job done.

worth every penny, flawless printing with no clogs or hiccups at all!
Honestly some of the nicest printing pla I've ever used. I went through the entire roll, from start to finish in 1 large print and at the end I had 3ft left on the roll. And not a single problem! no clogs, no gaps in my print, not even a disfiguring in my tree supports. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone using a flashforge adventurer 5m printer. It's some of the smoothest printing PLA out there, it even did better than my creality or FF pla.

Reliable, Smooth‑Feeding PLA That Just Works
The OVERTURE PLA Filament has been consistently solid for me. It prints cleanly, holds dimensions well, and has been dependable from spool to spool. What stands out most is how smoothly it feeds through my Ender 3 Pro—no snags, no grinding, no moisture‑related headaches. It just runs, which is exactly what you want when you’re in the middle of a print. Color is uniform, adhesion is predictable, and overall print quality has been great. A dependable everyday filament that earns its spot on the shelf.

Great
The OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm PLA 3D Printer White Filament has an excellent print quality, with a beautiful finish and great grip on the table. The colors are vivid and the final result is very professional, especially for detailed projects. I just noticed that the winding of the filament on the reel was not done in such an organized way, and sometimes the PLA can get taden during printing. Even so, adjusting and monitoring in the first layers, I got great results. Overall, it is a filament with great cost-benefit and very satisfactory performance.

Reliable
This is one of my go to bulk filaments, inexpensive and reliable. Rarely have a print fail due to something filament related.

top shelf performance, bargain bin price
I could not be more impressed with this filament. Feeds smooth, tangle-free and hydrated perfectly. It is not brittle. It does not snap. It came tightly shrink wrapped and air tight packaging which is always fun to cut open and wait for the.wooooosh. Not sure if this batch is brand new or what but it has been the most consistent easiest to lay down PL:A from suppliers here on A!. Just added them to the "save time, preorder list" because i will most def be buying this brand again.

Not quite 1kg
Prints well with no issues. Nice that they have the empty spool weight printed on the spool. Used that to determine that the spool doesn't contain 1kg of filament, it weighs less.

Fragile and clogged my printer, but good quality prints
~Edited at the end after using up the roll~ I've had to switch from the previous brand I had (Duramic) because it's no longer available and opted for this one. So far, I haven't managed a single print without any issues. Tangled twice, broke three times and clogged once, had to replace the tube entirely. I'm worried about leaving it alone because it keeps causing issues. The last time it broke, I had to pause mid-print, pull out the filament to avoid it clogging again and as I was grabbing the filament with a 2-fingered feather grip light enough to caress a newborn, it broke again in my hand. None of this ever happened with the other filaments I've used. It's done nothing but cost me money for things like new bowden tubing and print heads and waste my time with failed prints and cleanup. Not a single successful print so far. To top it off, it's very stringy and bridges poorly, but that might be because I haven't found the right settings for this particular PLA (which I won't be using for long anyway). One little tiny thing that's noteworthy about it though is that from the little bit I did manage to extrude without it breaking on me, the layers are nice and smooth compared to the old filament, adhesion is really good. Shame. EDIT: After the initial problems and some research, I learned that tangling is due to user error, not the factory. I still wouldn't get this filament again despite it printing nicely and adhering well, It's still prone to clogging and very brittle. It also tends to adhere a bit TOO well and leave residue, even at lower bed and head temps (flexible magnetic bed). Once you do get a print out of it though, the finish is nice and the quality is overall very good. For comparison, I've switched filament again and it's sturdy even when bent, doesn't clog and prints well.

Meh
Compared to other brands, meh, seems to gum up my printer and requires reloading every print. Also often leaves hair and other globs on many prints.

Very Good
Usually use eSun but this was on sale really cheap and I needed white for a 20mm diameter Death Star someone wanted printed out. Still playing with settings, had a few issues with the support tree layers looking "gappy", but at around 215 degrees and bed at 55, it printed quite well with just a few bed-sticking issues. Used a glue stick and set first layer speed to 50% and with brims, not bad. Suspect most issues are my inexperience. One issue is the spool. 2 ridges and a gap in the centre... I have a printed spool holder with bearings for the regular spools and this one kept falling off the bearings. Will need to print a removeable sleeve for it because had to reinstall the original holder to make it work. Not a fault of the filament at all, they're nice environmentally friendly spindles, but if like me your spool holder is anything but smooth/solid, you may have issues. Will buy again for sure.
