Slightly softer and compresses more easily than PB Elite foam rollers (very similar to a SPRI in feel but with a certain tack). 5-7/8" diameter vs. 6-1/4" PB Elite and 35" in length vs. 36" PB Elite. However, the Nimbus Endurabead weighs 25% heavier overall. Whereas The Nimbus scales a NetFitco 5, PB Elite rollers would comparatively scale at least a NetFitco 5.5 in firmness. Material surface of the Nimbus has a particularly tack to it which makes it easier to hold and apply a shear force to target muscle groups. The Nimbus certainly looks and feels as if it is constructed of superior raw materials. For what it is, this may be the top foam roller in this firmness category when efficacy, build quality and manufacturer warranty are taken into account. Lose one star for not being firm enough for those with particularly dense muscle groups. FYI, I use a RumbleRoller Extra Firm and a Brine lacrosse ball for most of my SMR needs.

I bought the Exervo Foam Roller based on the product details regarding how the product was produced & the good reviews it received. Too be honest, the price was also a lot more alluring than the $40 products that I've seen in local stores. At the same time, I was worried about some of the reviews that described the foam roller as "too firm". Also, I am always a bit wary of buying products without actually touching & looking at them. That being said, I've been using this roller for a couple of weeks now & I don't see where it gets the bad reviews. It is a firm roller, but has enough cushion to make it comfortable. Also, the quality is so much better than the $40 products I've seen in sports stores. This product exceeded my expectations! I've been using this with my P90X2 workout & it meets all the requirements for the foam rolling portion of the workouts. I bought the double-pack & gave one to my boyfriend. He agree's that the foam roller is a quality product.

I am so happy I finally purchased one of these for home. My gym carries them, but it's just so much more convenient to have at home - you can lie on it forever and not worry about who is watching you. The roller is VERY sturdy - I've stood on it with both feet and it bounced right back. Very firm. Very good quality. I gave the 2nd to my dad who is rarely impressed with anything and he loves it as well. He doesn't like "stretching" b/c it hurts, but finds it much easier to do with this foam roller. Excellent purchase.

This was an essential tool for my physical therapy. I found softer rollers for twice the price in stores near me. I was very pleased to get 2 quality rollers for little more than I would pay for one in a store (and that includes the shipping) I passed the inormation along to my physical therapist's office. I bought 2 because we have a vacation home as well and I prefer to keep one at each home rather than carry one around. Very happy with the product and the price. I am in Maryland, dont know why the review says differently

After doing a lot of foam roller reviewing, I bought these Exervo rollers. I was afraid of getting something too soft or one that would start caving. After a few months of using the roller pretty often it shows no signs of breaking down and is still just as good, if not better, than the ones at a PT office.Definitely recommend.

These have held up well and stay firm. Lots of good results releasing tight muscles. Can be pretty intense, but that seems to bring the best results.

But that being said, I do like the extra challenge that firmness gives me for core work in my Pilates on the Foam Roller class.

Great deal, these are great for my pre work out stretching. Nice to have two of them so my husband can use it too.
