GIBSONPerformance Exhaust 5561 Cat-Back Dual Split Exhaust System, Aluminized

I do have to say I had my mechanic do the install as some welding seems to be required. the pipes were welded together and a hanger was welded to the truck frame.I have driven about fifteen hundred miles and it's started to get a little deeper but nowhere near obnoxious, sounds like a truck should. The only thing I don't like so far is that the exhaust is noisy as it heats and cools. On more than one occasion I thought there was a clanging in my rear drive shaft but it was just the exhaust heating up or cooling down.This system replaced a fairly well worn performance single exhaust so I really can't claim any power gain or loss. Overall performance and gas mileage seems the same.

Everything came well packaged and looked good. I'm very happy with the "just above" stock level decibels, and its much throatier especially on start up. My 3 star review is due to having 2 issues during installation. I could have lived with 1 or the other, but having both occur in one box really made things kinda difficult.ISSUE 1: The mandrel bend on one of the tailpipe pieces leaves the pipe exiting under my bumper about 3" - 4" to the right of where it should have been, making the dual exhaust look severely lopsided and sloppy. I resolved this by slightly rotating the pipe and welding it in place. Doing it this way left the tailpipes coming out from the bumper at obviously different angles, but it wasn't terrible and could be 99% hidden using the included bullet tips, or should have been...ISSUE 2: One of the bullet tips in my package, was not given enough cut-out area at the tightening bolt to allow it to clamp onto the provided tailpipes. It didn't even come close. So now until I have time to go out and buy new tips, I've got a pretty wonky looking exhaust set-up.As I said before, I could have totally lived with running into one of these issues, I understand things rarely go to plan and you have to improvise sometimes, but due to having both issues, I now have to spend more time and money fixing their quality control issues.Overall it's a good system, but I would have been willing to spend more or less money on a system that worked correctly the first time.

Wish it was a true bolt on it had to be modified on my Yukon to get it to actually fit. Got it on and it sounded quiet for about the first month and then got way better with time. Not obnoxiously loud but good sound

No louder that factory. Pipes are about an inch and half different, away from center.

Pretty satisfied with this exhaust, not that hard to install yourself and sounds great (a nice low rummble). The only problem I had was the hanger supplied was a bit on the weak side. I had to clear my spare tire a little more and the hanger was allowing the pipe to keep dropping down and touching the tire again. Quick fix, had a more rigged hanger made, no problems now. Awesome Awesome Awesome..........everything needed was included.....bolted right in with no problems what so ever. It is a little quieter than expected but I'm fine with that since my old exhaust was half rotted off and loud as hell. pipes and muffler are very heavy gauge and not flimsy at all. You will not find an easier complete bolt exhaust anywhere cheaper. This makes me wonder why all the other exhaust systems are way more expensive because I don't see how you could make an exhaust system much better than this one.

Not as aggressive a sound as i would like but for the money its easy to install and could always update the muffler at a later date when i do the manifolds.

Quieter than I had hoped, no matter what I did I could not get this to align properly. Driver side exhaust hanger/clamp setup crushes pipe and held poorly. Would not buy again.
