French Riviera Nice, Cannes and Monaco Marco Polo Guide (Marco Polo Guides) Paperback – May 28, 2012

Used the map and all the information was useful for a recent trip to Nice, Cannes, monaco and surrounding towns along the French Rivera. Especially liked the size of the book.

Excellent resource and small, light guide. Great maps and write ups of a gorgeous region of France. We loved our trip and this seller shipped promptly - the book was in brand new condition, even though I'd ordered it used. Five stars.

Good guide for the French Riviera. Not too wordy.

Preparing for our summer trip, this book has it all. Places to go, see, eat, understand and look forward too becoming one with the Riviera!

Not what I expected. More an overview than a solid prep for touring. Maps either you broad in scope or too small to be of real use on the ground

I thought this book would be helpful with planning a trip to Nice, but the book contained very little information about Nice. Waste of money.

Esperava encontrar um mapa pop-up das cidades. Em vez disso, vem um mapa do sul de França, que não interessa nada. Também esperava mais informações e dicas sobre as 3 cidades,mas o guia perde se muito em sugestões de tours de automóvel por toda a França. Não é o guia ideal para quem vai fazer uma simples viagem de 5 dias sem carro.

It's not even an overview of the area and as a guidebook it's useless.There is more to see and to do on the French riviera than the book suggests. Nothing for families, or about any activities, only very few tips about interesting places. Why not offering GPS co-ordinates for places as well? Makes them better to find rather than using a 1:300000 or the smallest cutout of the streetplan. Even the maps in the tourist info places are better than that.Written by a lazy author.Yes, it it small and easy to carry around but why would I? It's like carrying an empty notepad - only ballast.

We found this book to be very useful on our holiday near Cannes as we explored the area. Maps good too.

The Kindle version of this is very difficult to navigate and requires an internet connection for the links, which is difficult when on the move abroad.Not a huge amount of information provided either.Cheap though! I suppose you get what you pay for.

5 stars for this little booked packed full of information on all the best places to see and do in the South of France plus a map of manageable size. Well worth buying if heading for a sightseeing holiday.
