Cordial Cherry in a cup - delicious!
One of my favorite holiday treats are cordial cherries, so when I saw this tea I knew I had to try it. I ordered a small pouch to begin with and when I opened it it smelled heavenly. The tea appeared very fresh, the leaves were a little crunched up at the bottom of the bag but I was pleased with the size and quality of the leaves overall. Chocolate and cherries and a slight hint of berry. On the package, it recommends to steep for 5-7 minutes. I definitely think this tea benefits from an extended steep time, at least 7 minutes, to help all of the flavors come through. This tea is good enough to drink plain but I do usually add a splash of milk and a pinch of sugar, as that's just my personal preference. It is like a decadant dessert in a mug! So, so good. If you like chocolate and hibiscus teas and cordial cherries I would definitely recommend trying!

I know the price is steep but it's worth it
I was really on the fence about ordering this product because of the price point. However I was looking for high quality ingredients and since I tried one of their other products I thought I would give this a shot. I really had a hankering for a Mexican hot coffee drink, when I saw this in a tea flavor. Upon opening the bag I was not very impressed with the smell of the cocoa shells. I'm very familiar with Coco shell since my father used to always use them in our garden. Nevertheless I thought I'd give it a try. First I transferred my tea into a mason jar for freshness I find these bags although they are very thick I have trouble opening and closing them. I used 212°F hot water and allowed the tea to steep in My cup with a cover for a total of 15 minutes. I used one heaping teaspoon for 12 oz of water. The results was the yummiest tasting chocolate tea I've ever had in my life! There's just a very light touch of pepper that will hit the back of your throat, I cannot say that it stays in the mouth it stays more in the back of your tongue. Comforting chocolatey delicious goodness. The color looks like a nice deep rich chai color, and it smells just as good as it tastes once it's brewed. This is definitely a favorite of mine I only wish that the price point was down a little bit. If you're interested in a truly chocolatey tea with a touch of spiciness I highly recommend this blend. There's plenty of tea to make it through an entire month if you have one to two glasses everyday. For those who love a chai tea with a bit of mexican chocolate I highly recommend this.

Not what I hoped, but a good tea
To begin - I am NOT a tea connoisseur. I am just a woman who found this while shopping for Christmas presents, and it sounded clever and delightful. That being said - this was a bit disappointing, but I’m giving it 4 stars because my expectations were probably off given I’m not a regular tea drinker. The ingredients include caramel pieces, so I was thinking this would be a sweet dessert tea (whatever that is). No. This does not taste like apple cider. It tastes like tea with an homage to apple cider. Which is probably a more realistic expectation but, again - not an experienced tea drinker. This is an herbal tea that has dried apple chunks in it and some spices similar to apple cider. I cannot taste the caramel whatsoever. There is just a HINT of sweetness. Once I got over my disappointment, I could appreciate this as a cozy, fall tea, but it is by no means a substitute for apple cider. Make sure to use boiling water and steep for enough time or the flavor will be too weak.

I would buy again I was surprised how well this tea tasted and it wasn't fine dust like some others for loose leaf tea

A very pleasant tea! The aroma immediately reveals notes of cherry and cocoa - like a calorie-free hot dessert 😊 The taste is mild not sour and slightly sweet on its own. I drink it without sugar and still enjoy it. It's perfect for the evening because it's caffeine-free. I'll be buying more for the festive season!
