Noga Heavy Duty Deburr Tool, with 3 Blades

Like all Noga products, this one is more than the knock-offs, but they are knocking this off for a reason. Noga makes the BEST stuff. If you are a hobbyist just getting started, and you just can't afford Noga, by all means get what will work for you. But personally I believe in "buy once, cry once". This will outlast and outperform the knockoffs. It will also retain its resale value well because Noga is THE brand. I do wish they had a nice kit with more of the attachments and a nice case, but I have not seen one if they do. I personally recommend you buy Noga the first time instead of getting something for 1/2 the price and having to turn around later and buy a Noga anyway because the knockoff broke, dulled, or in some way did not perform as it should.

I've had one of these tools for over 20 years. I decided to get another one and it did not disappoint. Deburrs inside diameters easily and also does outside edges with ease. Highly recommended to its performance and value for the money.

I use this for cleaning up the edges of 3D prints, if that’s not your use case you may have a different experience. This item was recommended in an Uncle Jessy YouTube video for cleaning “flash” off the edges of 3D prints. It works great for this! I’ve found the best method for this is to hold the print firmly in one hand while running the demurring tool AWAY from you along the edge you are trying to clean. Longer, smooth strokes with light pressure are much better than many short deeper strokes (with high pressure). Let the tool do the work, you just guide it. Great that the tool comes with extra blades, handle size is comfortable. If you do get the blade stuck, back it out and try again with less pressure, probably from the opposite direction to avoid digging into the same area. Don’t force it, the sudden release of the blade is l8ikely to be uncontrolled and could cause injury.

Never knew these existed until I was looking for a round metal file. Got this and all I can say it it really works great to de-burr around holes drilled in metal. Tool is robust and feels like it should last many years.
