Daily Essential for Red Skin (Green Version Only)
This is on AutoShip for me—and I actually had to slow it down because I’ve accumulated way too many tubes. That should tell you how often I use it. I use this daily. A little goes a long way, and it immediately tones down redness. I have very pale skin with a lot of redness (likely rosacea), and outside of prescription or $100 dermatologist creams, this is the most effective product I’ve found. Important note: get the green version. Do not get the pore-perfecting white one—it leaves a residue. The green blends in beautifully and neutralizes redness without looking heavy. One thing to be aware of: it is slightly drying. I use a good nighttime moisturizer to balance it out, and that solves the issue completely. Pros: • Instantly reduces redness • A little goes a long way • Affordable alternative to prescription products • Works great under makeup or alone Cons: • Can be drying without a good moisturizer If you have red, reactive, or rosacea-prone skin, this is absolutely worth trying. It’s staying on AutoShip for me.

Wow truly is *magical* in neutralizing redness!
My skin is oily and fair with a cool undertone and a lot of pinkness that I’m trying to neutralize. I originally tried Maybelline Master Prime 300 (green), which claims to “prime skin with pigments to counteract the look of redness for an even-toned start.” But the consistency was too translucent/runny (milky green, almost white) to cover my very pink skin and I could barely even tell a difference. I’m not sure the primer aspect did anything for makeup adherence or durability. It was moisturizing but added shine to my already oily skin and then sunscreen on top of that made my skin even greasier. The L’Oréal magic skin beautifier BB cream anti-redness is a hero product with everything I need: * actually cancels all my redness, evens skin tone. * lightweight, matte, not greasy, leaves my skin feeling soft (product is light green and creamy but turns to nude as applied) * can be worn by itself, under sunscreen, or over makeup. * lasts all day. * a pea-sized amount goes a long way. I didn’t notice it to be moisturizing, but that’s ok for me since I apply Aveeno restorative skin therapy oat repairing cream first anyway. I just wish the BB cream was available in a bigger size because I plan to use this almost every day for a long time. Luckily, it’s not expensive, so I’ll just buy more.

Works great for reducing redness, evening out skintone
I don't typically need to wear a lot of foundation and usually just want a natural look, being a guy who's not usually putting lots of layers of makeup on. I've previously used the Thank Me Later green primer but decided to try this and it's a good replacement. They're pretty comparable, it just gives my skin a natural, even complexion and covers up red areas that are noticeable to me. It's very easy to apply and only needs a few drops to cover my face. The thickness is creamy and pretty soft. I regularly wear it throughout the day without needing to reapply. I have used it with foundation but generally feel it works better on its own or with a small amount of concealer. Great product and well worth the price.

Goes o green to help blur redness. Works!
This was exactly what I was looking for. I do wish it came in different colors as it goes on green but is tinted a tan color which helps disguise the redness. A little goes along way and I use a wet beauty sponge to apply so it’s not to obvious a tan color. Last all day, doesn’t make me oily or greasy. Lightweight. No scent.

Not heavy makeup, easy to wear all day.
I've been using this make for a few years and really like it. I'm a ginger, with freckles, and have never worn a lot of makeup. This does go on green but the color quickly fades and it just smooths everything out. At 73 I'm not trying to look like a model, just trying to look put together. This, along with face powder and mascara do the trick.

It Turns Orange On Very Fair Skin
I have been using L'Oreal BB Cream tinted moisturizer (Pale/Fair) for years. I apply it very sparingly, as I don't want or need heavy coverage, just a very light coverage of inconsistencies. Recently, that shade was not available, so I went with the "light", thinking it would be close enough, I would just use a little less. Well...the second it touched my skin, it turned BRIGHT ORANGE. I was horrified! I washed my face, applied a L'Oreal moisturizer, thinking the culprit was the moisturizer I had applied. It was not the moisturizer, it was the BB Cream. Needless to say, I immediately washed my face and went "au naturale" that day. After having it happen to me, I noticed that several other reviews said the same thing! I don't know what it is about our very fair skin that makes the "light" shade turn orange, but it does. I have been unable to find L'Oreal BB cream in "Pale". I went to several pharmacies and big-box stores, but no one had the palest shade. I finally settled on the Almay BB cream in "Fair". It was flawless, as was the L'Oreal "fair". At least now I have an alternate go-to. If I eventually find the L'Oreal "pale" again, I will use it; however, I will never use the "light" again. So, if you are considering purchasing the "light" because the "pale" is unavailable, save yourself time and money. Just go to the Almay "pale". I think you will be as happy as you are with the L'Oreal

Oxidizes Pretty Bad - Wanted to Love
Eeee I really wanted to love this - I have dry/textured lighter neutral skin, this stuff oxidizes on me pretty bad. I was really hoping to be one of the people where this matches perfectly and fixes imperfections on lighter makeup days for that no makeup-makeup look but, I don't think this works for me. I will keep retrying with different prep, but I don't think anything I do on my end is going to ultimately effect how much it oxidizes for me making it orange and unusable. This was probably a sunken cost.
