How do these compare to the Hero Costetics brand patches?

I have personally found that these work better than the Hero brand for my teenagers. They work quicker and while the price has increased recently, they are a better bang for your buck because you don't have to use as many to see results.

Pretty amazing, but bad shape for acne trouble under mouth. Is there a rectangular sheet available?

I have purchased other brands that come in sheets & you can cut them.

the word hydrocolloid appears nowhere on this packaging or in this description that i can see, but is that what these are? like rael pimple patches?

I don't know about hydrocolloid but yes, they are pimple patches. They will suck the crap right out of your pimple if there is an opening. The key here being an opening to the inflamed pore. If it's a closed pore, they won't work. They work for me and I have been using them safely for a while.
