Great for a 4-5 year old- & not too difficult !?

My first grade daughter loves these. I have two daughters, a 5 and 7 years old. I began using flash cards with both girls between the ages of 4-7 months. That was the point in their development that they started to speak. I chose flash cards because it was a fun and visual way to encourage them to speak. I also wanted to offer them a broader vocabulary to choose from. They loved them and it was a great way to build their confidence. We have continued to use various flash cards along the way. When my 7 year old began first grade I wanted to find a way to help her practice her sight words on the go without having to carry tons of books around while on trips out of town or on vacation. I was very excited when I came across these Sight Word Flash Cards. We love them. Sight words are the most commonly used words in reading at her level. She is able to spend time learning one word at a time instead trying to learn multiple words all at once while reading a story.
