Well, this is my second bag of Red Split Lentils. I am disappointed that the lentils are so tiny and immature looking and tasting. Yes, they cooked up fast, probably 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes. But, flavor is so important when cooking, and I feel these weren't as flavorful as the last batch I had purchased of another brand. Guess I will purchase the other kind again, for my next order. I am using this product to make Lebanese Red Lentil Soup.

Most time when making lentil soup, I have to use immersion blender, but not with these lentils. The cook down and at the end all I had to do was whisk and had smooth soup. The are great.

I’ve been making Dahl with these and they are delicious. In the recipe I was warned to clean the lentils about six times. So the first batch I made I did there wasn’t a spec of dust or dead leaves or any material at all. So now I do rinse some and check them then I cook them and they are delicious.

They are nice looking lentils, but I didn't care for the taste. I use red lentils all the time, but my local grocery was out of them due to the pandemic, so I ordered these. They have a smoky taste that I didn't care for. They are grown in India, so maybe something to do with that. I don't think I'd buy them again.

I really like this brand for lentils and legumes. Always happy with my purchases.

I've been buying this brand for the last 2 years and wouldn't go back to the store-bought ones. The results are noticable and well worth the price.

These are ok, but have a lot more debris than other brands. I picked through 1.5 cups for a recipe and had a lot of sticks, leaves, and a few rocks. Definitely sort through these before cooking.
