Fredrix 5538 Stretched Watercolor Canvas, 18 by 24-Inch

If you're looking for watercolor paper this is not it. With a little patience my piece came out as I had hoped, but it got a little dicey for a bit. If you're not careful the water-based paints will run and blend with one another, but will soak in just enough to leave unwanted pigment on the canvas. I liked it enough to buy a 2nd.

The waters just ran off of it, so disappointed with it as a watercolor canvas. In the end i just washed off all the waterpaints and used it for an acrylic paint paining.

the stretchers can warp.

If I was anywhere near as good an artist as this canvas deserves, I'd quit my day job.Quick shipment, extremely well packaged (over-packaged, honestly- but not so much as a scuff on the shrink wrap!)Good material, good framing. Don't hesitate, buy this if you need one. You won't be sorry.
