Wang Zhihe Pure Sesame Paste

this is genuine asian sesame paste. Excellent. esame paste available in supermarkets is not the same.

Lid was open. leaded all over the packaging. The paste had separated from the oil, and hardened. It would not reblend. Spoiled product. Threw away immediately

Amazon will hate this bc I will talk about the seller's packaging. The jar is taped up tightly to prevent leaks, I appreciate that. BUT. There is no bigger between the jar and the tape so when you rip off the tape, you rip off the label. Not ideal.The paste has good sesame flavor. Do you need this specifically? I dunno. I think you can use tahini in a pinch (I have), although the flavor of this paste is definitely richer.Requires stirring, of course, and it's messy, but tastes good.

This is the only product I use for cold sesame noodles and it makes a difference in taste and richness. Knowing it is fresh makes this a perfect product find. Would buy again from this seller as it is convenient knowing I can find it here.

The flavor is disappointing. I would rather use sesame oil in recipes

This has an awesome sesame taste! The fact it is roasted adds a touch of sweetness that perfectly compliments cold sesame noodles with a touch of black vinegar and chili oil added. I recommend putting it into the fridge for a few hours after first receiving and it will thicken right up. This is a very good product and I'll be doing a subscription order for this.

Product not sealed, sesame oil leaking everywhere. Smelled delicious but not safe to eat.
