Went from carrying $300 Bugout to this.
Wanted a cheap edc knife that looked good, felt good, was long enough to cut into at least a double cheeseburger, and sturdy enough for stabbing someone in self defense. Ive had this about a month now. Let me tell you, it checks all the boxes. No exaggeration, best edc knife I've ever had. Took it apart as soon as I got it to clean up and very lightly lube(Balistol-food safe) the internals, add loctite to the screws. Opens like a dream with the ball bearing pivot after you've cycled the action about a few hundred times. Just open and close it a bunch. Will happen naturally if you mindlessly fidget with it like I do. Went from carrying $300 custom Benchmade Bugout to this. Thinking about adding a paracord lanyard or fob to aid in deployment, retention, and grip, since its a bit on the thinner side. Be careful not to drop it as cracks and chips in the transparent handles are pretty apparent. One of the cheapest knives Ive ever bought has quickly become my favorite ever. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Thoroughly impressed
I purchased this knife as a gift for a young lady as her EDC. No lady should be without some form of self defense. After sharpening it up real nice and spending a couple days with it, I gave it my approval before gifting it. Honestly, I was shocked by the quality of such an inexpensive knife. I even showed it to a couple of my friends and we all agreed that it was a solid knife. I without a doubt will purchase one for myself and for a few other youngins that are ready for their first pocket knife. The construction is simple, but solid. The bearing lets it flip open with ease and looks cool as hell while doing it. The blade has a nice thickness to it giving the knife a substantial and sturdy feel while wielding it. If you're looking for a inexpensive EDC pocket knife, I highly recommend this one and similar ones from this brand.

Nice Smooth Heavy Knife, with fairly uncomfortable scales.
I like this knife very much. It feels very solid and well made. Very smooth opening and closing action, and super sharp out of the box. A bit larger and heavier than I had expected. I would definetly not consider this to be a "gentlemans knife". Too big and heavy, but a nice knife all the same. The only complaint is that the scales have a very abrupt sqaure edge that is not comfortable when holding. Simple enough to grind/file the edges down to round them over, which solved problem completely (see screenshots). I assumed that the scales might be glo in the dark. Though they are not, I do like the Jade color.

One of the most satisfying knife purchases ever!
EF16 is easily the “Go To” of flipper knives. The jade scales make it more so! This is a very good looking pocket piece. This is a solid knife with befitting weight. It has a terrifically smooth operation opening it. In hand, it feels confident & comfortable. The blade is not over done, that not too long, not too short kind of thing. I simple like this design a lot. Again, the jade scales rock it! I have only praise for this piece of excellence. I recommend you get it & be grateful it is so affordable. I did, I am, & I am looking at picking up another one in a different color. Also, thinking I’ll be getting a couple of more in jade as gifts. In my opinion, there are other great choices out there in flipper knives, however, none are better than this one considering the entire package that it is. This one is a treat, a winner, and one very inexhaustibly cool carry knife. To some I expect it might be a bit hefty in weight. For me it is not so heavy to pry it out of my enjoying it for its crisp solid construction, looks, & appeal. And did I mention looks? Oh yes, I did! It would be an absolutely great decision to get one! Here’s hoping this review nudges towards creating a few more satisfied customers!

Just Awesome!
I was very impressed with this knife. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality especially considering the price. It feels solid and well built in the hand and the flipper action is extremely smooth. It locks up nice and solid with a good snap. The blade has a nicely done stonewashed finish and comes very sharp out of the box. The scales look nice and are very comfortable. This looks, feels, and cuts like a much much more expensive knife. At this price, I’m not sure how the company makes money. A great buy! Update 3/5/2021: I ordered another one of these knives because my first one was stolen. The second knife was as good as the first in every way, and I'm still amazed they can sell a knife this good at this low price. I have several other folding knives including a couple of high-end Spydercos and Benchmades, and I'm happy to keep this knife in the same drawer as those. I'll definitely be buying more knives from Eafengrow.

Great knife with an Inferior Blade Heat Treatment
I have been using this knife for about 5 months as an EDC. I like the shape of the knife and the blade swings out easily with the flipper. I work at a culinary school and sharpen a lot of knives. This knife sharpens up well; however, it does not hold an edge. The sharpened Edge nicks easily. (Not sure if this is really D2 steel or if it is just not that hard?) I still carry it but I'm a little disappointed in the hardness of the blade and have to sharpen it more often. A great value at the price but could be better with a better steel heat treatment. The crosshatch on the G10 scale handle provides a nice grip. Would love an identical knife with a better blade steel, even if I had to pay more money.
